Peachpaw gazed over at Thrushpaw as he padded into camp. He was carrying the prey that he had just caught. Peachpaw was too caught up in her own thoughts and dreams she didn't hear her sister's soft footsteps, padding up behind her.
"Peachpaw?"
Her sister asked quietly, in a shy voice
Peachpaw turned around, quickly, a little shook from the surprise.
"Oh-!"
Peachpaw sighed and relaxed
"Cedarpaw."
Cedarpaw smiled softly and sat down beside Peachpaw.
"What are you looking at?"
"Oh. Thrushpaw~"
She purred
Cedarpaw smiled
"You really like him don't you?"
She asked slightly teasingly
Peachpaw lifted her chin
"Obviously. And I'm not ashamed about it!"
Peachpaw got up and started to walk away
"Peachpaw! Wait! I didn't mean it like that!"
Cedarpaw ran over to her sister
Peachpaw sat down her tail swishing dirt up from the camp ground, making the pine needles and oak leaves rustle.
Cedarpaw brushed her sister's cheek.
"You know I didn't mean it, right?"
Peachpaw purred and rubbed her sister back.
"I know."
"I'll do whatever I can to make him and you get closer."
Cedarpaw promised
Peachpaw smiled
"Thanks."

Peachpaw yawned. She stretched as she got up from her position in camp. She had been waiting for Thrushpaw to be finished with training, for she had gotten the day off. She padded over to the fresh kill pile and looked for some good pieces of prey.
"Ew.. Only shrew."
Peachpaw muttered, she hated shrew.
At that moment Thrushpaw padded into camp with his brother Stonepaw. They were laughing, for Stonepaw was soaking wet. Peachpaw dropped her mouse and shoved it back in the pile. Thrushpaw came over with his fresh kill, which were two mice, and Stonepaw came over with a fish. Peachpaw smiled as they came over, Stonepaw smiled back. Thrushpaw only softly groaned. Peachpaw moved out of the way so they could drop off they're prey. Stonepaw was a grayish brown Tom with semi long for, and Thrushpaw was a grayish brown Tabby with fluffy fur, both handsome in they're own way.
"Are you guys getting prey?"
Peachpaw asked sweetly
Stonepaw shrugged
"I'm just gonna have this fish."
Thrushpaw watched his brother walk away.
"What are you gonna have?"
Peachpaw asked moving closer to him, so their fur brushed.
Thrushpaw moved away as he said, blankly,
"I don't know."
Peachpaw looked at him
"What's your favorite?"
She asked cheerfully
He shrugged
"I don't know shrew I guess"
"Oh! I LOVE shrew! It's definitely my favorite too!"
She said trying to seem sincere
He glanced at her like she was a physcopath, she only smiled. He grabbed a shrew and padded off. Peachpaw quickly did the same and followed, catching up with him.
"So where do you wanna sit? The bear clover patch is open! What ab-"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
he growled loudly at her.
Peachpaw stopped walking, and her tail dropped. Now dragging on the pine needles as she sat down by her sister. Who was also watching Thrushpaw, he looked over at them and winked.
"Cedarpaw! Did you see that! He winked at me!"
She said excitedly
Cedarpaw glanced at her
"Uh-yeah"
She said quickly before gulping down her prey and getting up,
"Night!"
She quickly padded off to the apprentices den.
Peachpaw watched her sister, she never left so suddenly. Was something wrong? Peachpaw looked at the sky, it was still dusk. Peachpaw shrugged it off and finished her prey. Peachpaw padded into the apprentices den. Her sister was curled up in her nest, sleeping. Peachpaw settled into her nest, and closed her eyes. She heard Stonepaw and Thrushpaw enter the den. She kept still and listened in on their conversation.
"You like her? Really?" Stonepaw said misbelievingly
"Hey, she's nice, and pretty. If course I do." Thrushpaw argued back
Peachpaw smiled, he liked her! He really did! Peachpaw slept better that night, dreaming of her and Thrushpaw.

The next morning Peachpaw woke up her sister quickly.
"Cedarpaw! Cedarpaw!"
Cedarpaw woke up slowly
"What?" She said half asleep, eyes still closed
"I listened in on Stonepaw and Thrushpaw when they came in the den and-"
"Peachpaw, you know you shouldn't do that. That's an invasion of privacy!"
"Whatever! The point is that Thrushpaw told Stonepaw he liked me!"
Cedarpaw tilted her head, awake now.
"Peachpaw, I don't think-"
"He did! Would I lie about that!?"
"Peachpaw. Are you sure he was talking about you?"
"Of course."
Cedarpaw bit her lip.
"Well, if you think so. I'm going to get some fresh kill. I'm hungry."
Peachpaw watched her sister leave. She sighed and followed her sister out.
