"Are you sure you want to do this Uraraka?" Deku asks unsure as the group stands in front of a large volcano. "I have to! I need to learn this spell! It might be one of the only ways to defeat The Evil in one shot!" Uraraka replies staring at the volcanos. "But is it really worth the risk of losing your life? What if the spell doesn't work?" Todoroki asks her as well.
"Yes it is! If it might not be for me, so many other people will die! This way, if it does happen, it will only be me who dies! And this spell never fails." Uraraka says still staring at the volcano. "ARE YOU THAT STUPID?!" Bakugou shouts loudly at her. She turns around to look at him, not even dazed by his sudden outburst at all. "YOU REALLY THINK THIS SPELL IS WORTH YOUR LIFE?!" He yells.
"Yes! There might be WAY more people who will DIE because of The Evil! And you guys are forgetting that there is a chance it won't kill me!" Uraraka says back to him, as well to the other two. "Now you don't have to come along with me! But I'm learning this spell one way or another!" She adds as she flicks her hat on and starts walking up the volcano.
"Wait!" She could hear Deku's voice from behind her. She looks behind her to see them all getting on Bakugou's dragon, since they managed to convince him. "Need a ride?" He asks with a smile. Uraraka smiles and sooner or later, they were flying up the volcano all piled on the dragon, holding on right. While Uraraka was the only one who had her arms wrapped around Bakugou.
They get to the top and they get off the dragon, being careful as they balanced on the edge. "Just circle around the volcano until we get out." Bakugou tells his dragon because there was no room for him to land. The dragon listens and he flies off. Uraraka pointed her staff straight up. "Mirror!" She says as a sphere surrounds the group. "Ok stay close." She tells them.
They all walk close by as the started walking into the volcano. The lava began to move out of the way, and flow around them but they were sheilded by the spell. Once they were in all the way, the lava closed up flat and below was a whole house! She ends the spell and they all begin walking down the long twisting staircase. "It's like 100 degrees in here!" Deku says fanning himself with his hand.
"Well what do you expect when walking into a volcano?" Uraraka says looking back at him and then looking back in front of her. "Now just let me do the talking!" She tells them. Eventually they get down all the steps and stand a few feet away from a cloaked figure in a maroon red cloak, at a wooden desk with a bunch of papers and spell books and everything.
"Who goes there?" He asks in an old sounding voice. "Uhm hi! I am Ochaco Uraraka! And, I'm a witch! I... Wanted to learn the spell Volcano!" She tells him being as confident as she could. The man pulls off his hood and stands up. "I will not teach you that spell. You should be grateful you don't even know how to cast it!" He says not looking at them until he turns around, showing how old he was all wrapped up in his red cloak.
"Why? What did it do to you?" She asks since she has no idea how it could have affected him. He reveals what was under his cloak and everyone winces at it. His whole body was completely shriveled and almost like a toothpick! "You see?" He says wrapping himself back up. "The price to pay for it is too high. If to doesn't kill you, you will be cursed with a disfigured body forever!" He says slowly walking over to a shelf using support with a wooden walker.
"But I need to learn this spell! My friends and I are going to kill The Evil before he destroys the world! I know the price for this spell could be bad but there is a chance that-" but she was cut off by him slashing his arm while turning around at her. "No! I will not teach you it! End of story!" He says. "But-" Uraraka tried to say but was cut off again. "No! Now go home!" He says angrily walking back over to his desk and sitting down at the chair, scratching his head with his hand with a sigh.
Uraraka had a face of defeat, as she dropped her hands and head as she began waking back to the stairs. "No!" She heard someone say behind her. She looks up at them in shock. The old man did as well. It was Bakugou. "Excuse me?" The old man says. "I said no! She's not leaving! We're all staying here! We spent way too long getting here! You are going to teach her this spell!" Bakugou spits at him.
"No I won't! Her body will EXPLODE if she uses it!" The old man says back. "Fine then! You guy will have a battle!" Bakugou says back angrily. "What?!" Everyone says in unison. "Yeah what Bakugou?! What are you doing?!" Uraraka asks walking up to him. "If she wins, you teach her the spell! If she loses, we'll leave!" Bakugou continues to say ignoring everyone else.
"Fine then! Tell me when you're ready." The old man says walking over to a wooden chest. A few minutes later the group is at the other end of the room. "Ok I don't care if you hurt me because of this, that was the most STUPIDEST thing you have ever said!" Uraraka says but Bakugou just rolls his eyes. "Yeah that was pretty stupid of you." Todoroki says bluntly.
"Oh shut up icy hot!" He retorted. "This guy is a master mage! I'm barely advanced!" Uraraka adds. "But think about it! This guy is injured! He isn't as strong and powerful as he used to be!" Bakugou says to her. Uraraka facepalms her hand on her face. "It doesn't work like that!" She yells back at him. She sighs out of frustration. "I'm sorry I'm just so stressed about this!" She says.
"Don't worry Uraraka. Look, you are very powerful from what I've seen, I know you'll do just fine!" Deku says trying to encourage her. She smiles and then puts on a determined face. She raises her staff so it stands straight up. "You're right! I can do this!" She says confidently. She went off ready to face him. "So you're ready?" The old man says turning around with his own staff. It looked like her's but it had a blue orb.
"Yes! I'm ready!" She says. "Very well." He says with a smirk and takes off the whole cloak, showing his old disfigured body, but Uraraka tries to ignore that. "Fire beam!" He says starting off easily as a big beam of fire charged at Uraraka. "Sheild!" Uraraka says stabbing her staff into the ground and the fire goes around her. "Come on! Give me something hard!" Uraraka says still feeling confident.
"Very well... Fireball!" He says stabbing his staff into the ground forming a big fire ball right at her. "Harden!" She says bringing her staff back, that was hardened and surrounded by metal, and she swings it forward hard, forcing the fireball back at him. He barely manages to dodge it. Uraraka felt good that she pulled that off even though she was hoping it wouldn't hit him and possibly kill the guy.
Her staff returns to normal. It went back and forth for a while until he released a bit spell. "Shock wave!" He says as he swings his staff and a big sliced wave at her. Uraraka couldn't dodge it in time and casted a spell she barely even knew. There was a bright light and then nothing. Uraraka was standing there but then she fell sideways. "URARAKA!" The group shouts in unison running towards her.
"What do you mean guys? I'm right here!" Uraraka says waving her hand but no response from them. She then realized she was transparent. "Ah! WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!" She ran around screaming. Luckily no one could see or hear her. "What happened?! I must have casted the spell Ghost out of protection! But I don't understand why I thought of that spell!"
She was freaking out until the old man casts a spell where Uraraka's spirit was dragged over to her body and dissolved into her body. Soon, she wakes up. She springs up scaring her friends. "IM BACK! IM ALIVE! HAHA!" She says with a bright smile jumping around. "Wait Uraraka are you ok?!" Deku asks. "Yeah! Never better!" She tells him. "There. Your friend is back. Now leave." The old man says putting his cloak back on.
But Uraraka out on a serious game face. "No! We're not leaving!" She says to him. "You lost!" He says back to her. "Listen! The Evil will wake up again! Wiping everything in his path! Including you! But if I learn this spell, we can stop him! Including myself! So we're not leaving until you teach it!" She says to him. He could see that look in her eyes, a look he has never seen from any mage or witch for a very long time.
He smiles. "Very well. I will teach it to you." He says. After all of that, she finally learned it. Soon they left the volcano. "Remember, you may only have one shot at it. So only use it during your fight." The old man tells them before they leave the volcano. "Thank you!" Uraraka says and they leave. They started to climb back up on the dragon.
"Hey Bakugou, thanks for saying something! It was stupid at the time, but thank you!" She says to him. "Yeah whatever. You're welcome." He mutters. He squeezed hero face cheeks, just because he wanted to, and then climbed up on the dragon. She blushes a bit and then also climbs on.
Then they were off.
