I ran away from my pack because my parents were killed. They were killed by rogues and I couldn't keep staying in a place where I was surrounded by memories of them.

That's how I became a rogue. I became the same thing that killed my parents.
But that's just how it is.

I made some friends, their names are Ryder, James and Andrew. There are times I wish I could go back to the way things were when my parents were still alive.

"Hey Leah!" Andrew's voice brought me out of my train of thoughts.

"What's up?" I said, then he looked up

"Uh you know, the sky, birds, clouds--"

I smacked his head "Silly! Why'd you call me?"

He rubbed his head and pouted "I'm just hungry, let's go hunt something down"

My stomach growled in response "I guess I am too, where are the others?"

"They're down at the lake"

"Okay, let's go get them then we can go hunting"
We strolled to the lake where we found James and Ryder swimming.
No surprise there, they did this everyday.

"Ryder, James, get out of the lake, we need to go now" I shouted but of course they didn't listen to me.

"Come on Leah, swim with us a bit" Ryder winked at me, he was the playful and flirty one of our group.

"As much as I'd like to, we're hungry so we need to hint a deer" I smirked. James and Ryder perked up at what I said.

They loved hunting especially if it was a deer. They just find so much fun doing that.

"Well why didn't you say so before?" James rolled his eyes as he and Ryder came out of the lake.

We walked to different trees and then changed behind them.
I undressed myself and tied my clothes tightly to my ankles then morphed into my red wolf.

I checked if my clothes were still intact and came out to join the others.

"Alright which way do we go?" James's voice rang through the link.

"Let's just walk down and check for any deers around" I said.

We walked around for a few minutes before Ryder spoke up.

"Guys I see a deer" Ryder alerted us.

We moved stealthily towards our prey like the predators we were. We tried not to make any sound and I have James the signal. He pounced on it while we surrounded them. James kept the deer secured beneath him. Just as we were about to silence the deer for good, we heard wolves howling and growling.

What the hell?!

Suddenly, several wolves gathered us and from their scents they're not rogues.
Then it hit me like a bag of bricks, we're on a Pack's territory.

"Uh-oh, we're in trouble" Andrew said. Because of this, James let his guard down and the deer speedily took off.

"And there goes out lunch. Great, just great" Ryder grumbled as he sat on his butt.

Soon a man walked up to us wearing nothing but a pair of jeans. "Shift!" He ordered.
When we didn't obey he said it again with a lot of authority.
He must be the Beta or Gamma because the power that radiated from him wasn't as strong as ab Alpha's.

I felt really uncomfortable shifting in front of all these unmated wolves, but I did anyway and quickly dressed up aware of the stares.

I looked up at the man who was already staring at me intently "Follow me"
