Few days later....
Akshat was lying down on the bed, waiting for Arshita. She had been taking care of his wounds for the past few days just like he had done the days when he took care of her wounds.
She finally entered with some holy water. She placed the cup on the table beside the bed and helped him to sit up. She helped him drink the holy water and placed the cup on the table again.
"Arshita, it's Ok. I can take care of myself," Akshat said. Arshita placed her index finger on his mouth. "Allow me. When the tribal people hurt me, you took care of me. You cared for me and you..."
She kept quiet and looked down. "I?" Akshat asked. He used his fingers and lifted her chin. "Tell me," he said.
"And you loved me," she said. He fell quiet. Akshat stood up. He inched closer to her no held her left cheek. He pulled her face closer. He was about to kiss her but, she placed her fingers on his lips.
"Not now. Shaadi ke baad," she said. His eyes widened. "What?" he frowned. "Y.... You want to marry me?" he asked. "Yes our families want us to marry. And I also want to marry you," she said. "You have made me the happiest man alive," he said. Akshat hugged Arshita tightly.
"I love you," Arshita said. "Really?" he asked. "Yes, I love you so much," she said. They hugged each other tightly...
