Seriously! I say to myself, I just wanted a normal ride on a Ferris wheel by myself. But instead, I'm stuck at the top with a boy named Jake. Life couldn't get any worse. But it did...

The Ferris wheel broke down, and I just realised it was a full moon. As the moon emerged from behind the clouds, I closed my eyes and let the vampicorn deep down inside me take over.

A pearl white horn rose from my sculpt, big canine teeth took the place of my old average chompers. I could tell the boy was scared of me, but all I could think about is breaking free and sucking up his blood. I kept hold of myself and only let my eyes change from seaweed green to pure black!

I banged my fists against the walls in a desperate attempt to free myself, the boy was screaming from behind me. With terror in his voice, he asked:

"Wh.... What are you?" Snarling, I replied,

"I am Lily, a vampicorn!" I was surprised at the cruelty in my voice, but I just couldn't help myself.

The clouds adjusted back into place, covering the moon. I shuddered and returned to human form. Miraculously, the Ferris wheel clicked back into place. Jake stared at me in horror, then his expression softened.

"I'll teach you how to control it," said Jake with a smirk on his face. In a flash of bright light, he was no longer human...

He now had glowing skin, bright at the moon, with sky blue eyes. His messy blond hair was now shiny and silver. He was a... a...

"moon-man!" Jake exclaimed, "Crazy, huh?" I stared at him in amazement. After getting off the Ferris wheel we started walking down the beach. Jake turned to look at me. His still piercing blue eyes burning into my mind.

"Hold out your arm," he said to me. I did as I was told and outstretched my hand. When his soft hands touched me I shivered and Jake wrote down his number.

"Lessons begin tomorrow," and with that, he walked away and left me alone on the beach.

I stood there in shock. Then I looked down at the ink on my arm and smiled at the number. A warm feeling entered my heart, I was not alone, there were others like me... I stayed there until it got too cold, then I walked back to my apartment.
