CHAPTER 2- Jake- The Video

I was sitting on the couch, just waiting for a text from Lily. She had looked pretty excited earlier on at the beach. 'DING!' I scrambled over the table and picked up my phone. Sadly, it was just my friend James (the Moon Lord) asking me to meet him on the moon... IN 5 MINUTES!!! I started to panic. I quickly texted Lily telling her NOT to come. I could only hope she got it on time. I quickly transformed into a moon-man so that I could teleport to the Moon!

I popped up in the middle of the secret courtroom- a room only used for crises. Beside the Moon Lord, Austin and Jayden (the leaders of the Soul Hunters). Surrounding the area, vampicorns were roaming. They made sure that everyone was safe. Then the Moon Lord started glaring at me, his fiery eyes met mine and the room started to get really hot.

"You and that girl made a huge mistake," he started.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

"You exposed us! That video went viral!" He said, with rage and hatred in his voice.

"What video...?" I asked.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for anyone to see anything! Let alone a video leak!" I said with guilt in my voice. Then I remembered a girl... How she had a camera pointed at me. I shook my head, ashamed of my recent actions.

"I... I remember a girl. She had long golden hair... It must have been her," I confessed.

"THAT'S HALIEY YOU IDIOT! SHE IS THE SUN MISTRESS!" James roared "You should be banished!" The Moon lord said, but Jayden interrupted.

"No wait! Consider this idea, what if Jake and the girl he was with got into the Sun Kingdom..... and killed the sun mistress? With the help of myself and Austin of course!"

"I believe that may be a good idea," the Moon Lord said, nodding his head in agreement.

"So it's settled then? Lily, Jayden, Austin and myself will go out and kill the Sun Mistress." I confirmed.

"What about the Rayzers- her followers?" Austin queried.

"They've been taken care of, I promise," James said, winking. For a moment I wondered what the wink was for, but I did not dwell on it.

James clicked his fingers and then smoke cleared and Lily stood next to me. Confused, she asked:

"Where am I? What is this place?"

"Obviously she needs some training. Jayden, I'm putting you in charge to teach this vampicorn the ways of the moon!" The Moon Lord declared. Jayden bowed his head respectfully but I could tell he was mocking James. The Lord turned on his heel and strode out of the room.

Leaving only Jayden, Austin, Lily, myself and the vampicorns alone.

"James only found out he was the Moon Lord last week!" Austin complained, "He's already taking charge completely!"

"Alright, let's get to that training Lily!" Jayden clapped his hands.

After a long hour, Lily was ready to fight. Everything had been explained but she still couldn't believe it.

"Let's get to it, we still have a Sun Mistress to kill!" Jayden yelled in excitement.
