Darling, you'll be okay

Ervin's POV

today we were heading to the mall of America. We were back in Minnesota so we just decided to hang out since today was our day off.

When we got to the mall, we all spread out. emmy and I headed to H&M, alec and thea to american eagle, and cam, Jenna, austin, veronica, julie and alex to hot topic. we agreed to meet up at the food court around 4:00.

~later that day~

Thea's POV

we all met up with Cam, austin, alex, Jenna, veronica and julie around 2:00. it was 3:45 now.

We started to head to the food court to meet with everyone else to go home.

There weren't many people here, considering it was monday.

A guy bumped my shoulder as he walked passed me.

Something just seemed weird about him. he was dressed in all black with a large jacket.

Dude, it's the middle of summer.

My thoughts were interrupted as a loud pop sounded behind me. followed by screams.

I spun around to find the guy holding a hand gun, pointed at us.

My heart just about stopped.

Alec grabbed my hand and pushed me behind him.

Cameron, Austin, Alec and Alex all slowly stepped in front of us.

A mall security guard slowly walked up behind the gunman. he grabbed his right arm (which he was holding the gun with) and attempted to pull it down.

I couldn't quite see what was happening from my place behind alec.

I heard several loud pops followed by many screams.

Alec's hand went limp in mine as he started to fall.

His eyes were wide as he hit the ground.

I looked up at the gunman who was on the ground, the gun across the floor.

I ran forward to Alec.

His mouth was moving, but no words were coming out.

I saw a large puddle of blood on his right side.

"Thea" he whispered as he looked in my eyes.

"Alec" I sobbed.

"I-I-I never got th-the chance t-t-t-to say-y it, b-but I l-l-l-love you. I lov-v-ve y-you s-s-s-so much." His words shook.

"I love you too alec" I sobbed as I payed my head on his chest. The beating of his heart was slow. but it was beating.

"Darling. you'll be okay" I whispered.

"I promise"

I kissed his lips one last time before everything went black.
