This was actually a month ago when my friends and I talked about the title "Toilet bound" 'cause the original english title was "Earth bound" and not "Toilet bound" it only became that way 'cause the mc is a toilet ghost blah blah blah. Anyway...
Lets go to the point
Jibaku means Toilet bound but if you use a different kanji the meaning can change. As you can see in those photos the other meaning means "tied up" and the other meaning means "suicide" my friend just added shounen (meaning boy)
Did the author planned this? Or was it all pure coincidence? Did Hanako really choosed to kill himself?
