Chapter 1: Sunny

Sunny's POV

"valid id?" the staff asked me and I immedietly obliged and present to her my i.d. After that, she gave me my boarding pass and baggage receipt. I placed my luggages to the counter and carried my carry-on bag.

It was a normal day. I booked a one-way ticket to stockholm, Sweden. I completed all the airport procedure.

Pagkatapos ko sa immigration, dumiretso na 'ko sa designayed boarding gate at naghintay.

Habang nakikinig sa kanta ng paborito kong banda, nagkaroon ng kumosyon.

"delayed na naman?! Ilang araw na akong nag-iintay dito. Kailangan na kailangan ako ng anak ko." sigaw ng isang babae. She really looked exhausted. Parang ilang araw nang hindi natutulog.
"we're really sorry ma'am. The weather is really not good. We cannot risk our planes and our passenger's welfare." the staff anwered politely.

The commotion went off and people seemed they don't care, so I shrugged it.

At the airplane

"fire warning system in both engines?" "checked" "authomatic feathering system?" "checked" "all circuit breaker" "normal"

"thanks jose" the capatain said
"no problem captain"

Jose handed to the captain the weather report, while Jose started the performance application calculation in his ipad. He entered the weather information, runaway for departure, and the weight of the airplane. In return, the application indicates if the runaway is long enough to take-off.

The capatain rises from his seat to conduct the outside preparation. Jose was left alone in the cockpit and did all the necessary briefing.

15 minutes to departure

"sarra, blooming ka ngayon" the chief flight attendant
"thank you Elaine" sarra replied.
The cabin crews are preparing the safety features of the plain.
"are you pregnant?" the chief flight attendant asked.
Sarra blushed and admitted that she is pregnant.
Elaine smiled at her "alagaan mo sarili mo. Hindi nalang ikaw 'yan may bata na sa sinapupunan mo"

10 monutes to departure

An armed guy barged in, holding a SA80A2 rifle. More than half of the passenger manage to get out before the anonymous guy closed all the doors. The Twenty-one passengers were trapped inside, including Jose, the assistant pilot; the chief flight attendant, Elaine, and the anonymous guy.

"west! We should head west. Take-off immedietly. Hindi pwedeng abutan tayo ng araw"

He told to one of the pilot.

"I'm sorry sir, the securities will come over" the pilot refused to do his command.

Hindi nagpatinag si Jose at dahil dito napilitang kalabitin ng lalaki baril.
"argh" Jose held his left hands where he was shotted.

"anong nangyayari dito!?" a middle aged man barged in. His overall demeanor looked shocked.

"call a doctor! We need a doctor!" the armed guy

Outside the cockpit

"doktor! Sino sainyo ang marunong manggamot?!"
The passengers don't have any idea what is happening
"inuulit ko, sino ang marunong manggamot dito?"

A woman raised her hand.
"I'm a nurse" she volunteered
"name?" "Susan"
"okay susan, come in"

They entered the cockpit and Susan immedietly approached the pilot.

"let's put a pressure in your wound"
Susan grabbed a clean cloth and tied it to Jose's arm.

"we have to fly. Wala na tayong natitirang oras!" the armed guy interrupted.
