She kept her eyes on me the whole time it took for me to enter the mat.
I accepted the staring contest, and had my eyes on her as well.
I have an advantage of knowing how she fights, but she is without a doubt better trained than I am.

After strapping the MMA styled gloves on, I faintly hear Lion's voice in the background.
"Go."

I take a deep breath, and advance. She stays completely still, putting her hands up in the same boxing style she had earlier.
I put my hands in front of my chest, ready to protect my face if I need to.

She must notice that I have a better reach than her.
She knows she has to get in close to land hits.

So why is she just standing there, watching me?

What ever. Mama always told me never to swing first, but I guess this is an acception.

I take a my left foot, placing it forward and shifting my weight on it.
I then take my right hand, and throw it towards her head in a jab type motion.

It worked against that one Lesion dude, but this girl isn't him.
With the reflexes that I saw used against that wrestler girl, she was able to go under my arm, and slam her fist into my jaw.

She hits hard for a girl.
I stumble back a little bit, before putting my guard back up in time to block her second punch. I feel the impact hit my fore arms, and they start to ache.

Backing off a little bit, I start to circle her, and she copies my foot work.

"Come on newbie, land a punch." She states, smirking.

Annoyance starts to appear on my face, before I quickly hide it. I need to calm down.
She's quick, but not too strong. She relies on counter attacks, and doesn't make the first move. So I have to force her to make the first move then.
I'm not as good at countering, but if I can land punches and kicks, then it doesn't really matter.

"Chivlery states that ladies go first." I state.
"You don't have the balls to land a punch." She replies.
Neither of us have made a move yet.
This has turned into a game of patience and temper.
"You would know a thing or two about balls, wouldn't you sweet heart?"
"Oh please, you're the expert."
"Can't say I am, you're the one acting like a dude here."
"That doesn't even make any sense.." she states
"That's the point" I state, taking a step forward, throwing a kick towards her chest.

She was waiting for it. She wasn't distracted in the slightest.

The moment my foot connected, she catches it, and twists my leg.
My body naturally twists with it, causing me to lose my footing, and slipping on the floor.

She has my foot in an iron grip, and I'm unable to kick free.
"Tap out or your ankle breaks!" She shouts. My feet still aching from my recent meetings with Caviera, I quickly make the safe decision, and tap out.

She drops my foot, a smug look on her face.
I can hear Lion chuckling in the back. "You turned into a bitch quickly, didn't you Koda." He asks. Standing up, and dusting myself off, I can see the other members of Lion's squad snickering or smirking at me, as I get off the mat and walk to the back of the line.

For the rest of the day, we did basic shooting drills and laps around the base. Mind you, the base is fucking huge, a single lap felt like more than a mile. Thankfully all that running from the police actually did something good for once.
It finally gave me a chance to see where I was, but unfortunately, there was not a single monument to tell me where I was. All I saw was a desert
It was 6 PM, and I just left Doc's office where he inspected my feet, since after the laps my feet had sharp pains in them. Due to Cav shooting my feet all those weeks ago, my feet are still in pain, I have just been walking it off for the past couple days.
