We spend time together talking about random things. I was able to get a glimpse of her life. As of now I am contented with that.

"Where did you studied medicine?" I asked her

"In Boston l, Harvard University." She answered me.

"I went to Stanford University studying business." I told her

"Really? Is it really good there? " She asked me.

"Yup! I had so much fun there. I think when I studied that's the time we become close with Xavier"

"Xavier knight? Whose been my patients for a couple of days?" She asked me

"Yup and the one who got Gaga over your Best friend. Hahahaha.. I never thought a day will come he will go crazy about a girl. But he always said that he's having hard time with her" I told her

"Hahahaha.. Emma doesn't like man whore. That's why it will be hard for him to make her believe he's serious" she told me while laughing.

"What do you think of Xavier?" I asked her.

"I don't know.. I am not close to him so I can't say anything. I don't want to judge people easily. Besides some people acted like that for a reason" she said while looking down to her hands.

"So do you believe that they might be end up together one day?" I asked her

"I don't know!" Then she giggle. "Emma doesn't have a boyfriend ever since. She's been concentrating on her job and her sister. She always told me she doesn't have time for love"

"Why?"

"Emma and her sister left alone when her parents died ten five years ago. Then her sister had problem in kidney. She's in need money to undergo her sister in kidney transplant. I already told her I will do it. But you know medical fees and medicine. I think this month I have scheduled her sister. We able to collect money from the hospital. We toke advance..hahahaha!" She laughed

"You need money? I can help you?" I told her

She look at me shock and shook her head

"No no no.. it's ok we already paid the fees for the hospital. Anyway my salary always went to my sister unnecesseries things. So at least now my salary has something meaningful to do" she said smiling

"Goes to your sister? Why?"

"She always asked money from me. I always the one paid for her credit cards. One time she bought the entire collection of LV. Then my dad get angry so she ran to me and asked for help. I went to the bank and paid it for my monthly salary" she said like it's nothing

"It's ok to you? You work hard on it"

"It's ok she's happy with it. Sometimes I got upset but I don't have anything to buy it. I only like books." She said nonchalant.

"Then what about your things? Personal like your clothes, bags, jewelries?" I asked her confused.

"I never bought jewelries. I don't like it. I only own two or three bags I think. Hahahah.. I can re used my clothes I don't have to buy every season." I look at her shocked

She's the first girl to say that! She doesn't like jewelries.

"Expensive things are women best friend right? How did it..!?" I asked her confused.

"Maybe because I already used to it. When mom was alive we never went to malls instead she make me go to church or orphanage and make me play the children there. In my early age I seen that money and expensive things cannot make you happy. " She said while smiling maybe she remembers her mom.

"And when I am in college. I went to do all sort of part time job. I mean Emma and me. "

"What kind of job?"

"Being waitress in fast food, restaurant, diner or fast-food. We even went to modeling scout. Hahaha it's so stupid cause after couple of project they asked us to post revealing clothes which we both declined" she said mesmerizing her past

"Did you do club waitress?" I hesitate for a moment afraid of what she will answer.

"We only did one time. Then we quit after one hour .Because those people there are all pervert."

"You said Emma doesn't have any boy friend. Are you too?" She look at me then stared into my eyes

"Nope I never had too"

"Is Mark your boy friend?"I asked her. Please no please answer no

"No! But he's been courting me for how many years already. He asked me to give him a chance and I think I might say yes since he's sweet and thoughtful. He never take advantage of me nor done any perverted acts." She told me

"You will leave me for him?" I almost whisper it. I think I lost energy in my body of her answer.

"Nope! Our marriage will only last for a year. I don't want to go back to my father's house. So I will marry him so I can escape from them"

What?

"I know it might seem wrong. But I don't want to be with my dad and his family. I don't have any decisions there. If I don't obey him he get angry and slap me. Mark promise he will never hurt me so I think I will hold on to that!"

"Then what about me?"

"You have a girlfriend right? You can finally be together with her" she said to me smiling

"Girlfriend? Who?" I asked confused. I never had any girlfriend.

"The girl you always bought home. "

"Huh...?" I look at her in horror.

"Where did you get that idea?" I asked her. I am so confused and hurt right now.

"You always do together you know..." She told me shyly and try not to say the word.

"We don't have any relationship at all. She's just a friend." I told her

"Do you get intimate with your friends?" She asked me.

"Nope! Just for good time!" I said honestly. "But pinky promise I never had any serious relationship. And I don't have any fun time too. I am sorry I am such a jerk husband to you" I told her

"It's ok!" She said to me

I wonder how will I try to convince her that I am serious.
Thinking she had a plan to marry Mark Knight.
