Wonder Duo-(BakuDeku)

Promise

"Kacchan, wait for me Kacchan!"

It was a Sunday morning, Bakugou Katsuki and his best friend Midoriya Izuku were out hiking with their mothers. "Come on Izuku, you're too slow!" Katsuki shouted as he turn around to face the greenette who was catching his breath. "Wait up you boys, you two are too fast!" The duo turned right to see Mitsuki and Inko running towards them. "Maybe you're just too slow old hag!" "How many times have I told you not to call me that?!" Mitsuki smacked Katsuki's head, causing the blond to wince in pain, "ow, that hurt!"

"Hey! How about we set up here?" Inko joined in trying to change the subject. "Hey this spot looks great, sure!" And indeed it is, they found a grass field on the peak of the mountain, smilax bloom dangling on thin tree branches on big oak trees, it's gorgeous. 

The two boys ran around the empty field laughing and giggling, going on little adventures together.

The two mothers set up their picnic, putting a picnic mat on the floor and putting the sandwiches and fruits onto paper plates.

The boys came back after Mitsuki and Inko finished setting up their things, they looked really sweaty and tired but their smiles never once left their faces.

"Mum, can I have some water?" "Of course sweetie, here you go." Izuku practically choked on his water bottle, finishing every single drop. Katsuki laughed, "Izuku, when you're on a hero mission you're gonna be exhausted and thirsty, yet you won't have any water, how are you gonna survive out there?" Izuku took the empty water bottle out of his mouth and pouted. "Nee Kacchan you're so mean, after I train I'm going to be able to go on hero missions, just watch me." "Okay, prove it when we're older." Their faces reading 'game on.' Seconds of silence past then they burst out laughing, gripping on their stomachs and turning upside down.

Their mothers smiled, seeing their sons so joyful made them happy, if only it could stay like this forever.

The day went by, they ate and played all day long, by now it was 4:30 and the boys were going to take a walk before they head back home. 

"Today was fun Kacchan!" "Yea Izuku, I like it when we go on adventures like this!" "Hey there's a pathway here, let's see where it leads to!" The duo took a right turn into a mysterious place. It was a big and beautiful flower field! The flowers going left and right along with the wind under the brilliantly red and orange sky, it was absolutely breathtaking.

Katsuki's eyes widen, he had never seen such a beautiful place, he never expected to actually discover something while going on little adventures. He didn't wait a second, he dragged Midoriya into the field, making the smaller boy yelp. They played there for a while, until they decided to just relax and sit down on the flower beds.

"hey Izuku?" Midoriya answered with a 'hm?', "can you promise me something?" "What is it?"

"Promise me that we'll be the best hero duo when we grow up."

Izuku stood there for a second, then smiled, the biggest, brightest smile he has put on that day. "Of course Kacchan! We will be the Wonder Duo!" He linked pinkies with Katsuki. Bakugou smiled warmly at the beaming broccoli head.

'A promise is a promise.' he thought. 

"Kacchan, from now this place is going to be our favourite spot okay? Once we become Wonder Duos we come here." Katsuki looked at Izuku straight into the eye, their eyes are full of hope, determination of reaching their goal. 

"Okay!"

The boys went back to their mothers, telling them the flower field they discovered. Mitsuki and Inko were quite surprised at how beautiful that place was, they took some pictures there then left.
