Koletta's POV:

It was 7 p.m when I reached home, and Mum had already bought takeaway western food for us to eat. I could smell my chicken chop and fries. Mum and Dad were waiting for me in the living room.

"Mum, why didn't you cook today?" I pouted as I flopped on a single sofa. I put my school bag down on the ground beside my sofa. I had seriously grown to love Mum's cooking.

"Honey, I'm too tired today."

"Oh, never mind then. Let's eat!" I chirped as I skipped to the kitchen.

We sat together and ate in a comfortable silence. I could tell they were both very hungry. So was I.

After almost finishing dinner, we started chatting.

"Honey, Koletta, I've got good news!" Mum beamed at us. I raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?" Dad asked.

"You remember Aunt Sara? She's going to be staying over for a week with her husband Eric, and her kids Lia and John! Isn't that wonderful?" Mum exclaimed, obviously really excited for them to be here.

"That's great, hon." Dad said as he smiled lovingly at Mum.

"Yeah, that's awesome! I miss Lia!" I said, happy that I won't be the only teenager in this house anymore. Well, at least for a week.

After dinner, I helped Mum cleaned the dishes and then went upstairs to my bedroom.

I locked my bedroom door, and shut my windows. I smiled as I took out the remainder of my homework and did them on my bed. After I was done, I went to my bathroom.

I opened the door to my bathroom and stepped inside. I began to strip.

The curtain which covered my bathtub moved suddenly, and my heart rate picked up. Who or what was that?! I put on the shirt I had just took off. Luckily, it reached a few centimetres below my butt. I decided I needed a weapon, so I quickly grabbed my toothbrush. I know, not the best but I could hit the person with it. I really hope that it was just me being paranoid.

Craig's POV:

Shit. Shit. Shit. I was in her bathtub, and I couldn't get out. Why did I not just come out after she locked her bedroom door? Why did I have to fucking stay here and let her find me in the worst place possible?

Slowly, I saw a small hand draw the curtain that covered the bathtub I was in. Shit. I guess this was it.

Her eyes widened when she saw me. Then, she was going to scream. But I slapped my hand above her mouth, muffling her screams. I got out of the bathtub and pinned her to the wall.

My eyes trailed down her body. She was only wearing a shirt which reached just below her butt. I could hear her rapid heartbeat. I couldn't help but feel lust and want for her. It wasn't my fault, she looked sexy as hell. I pushed my wolf down before I marked her there and then.

"Shh calm down Kols." I soothed. Her heartbeat slowed down and she shivered at the nickname I said.

"How - W-What are you doing here Craig? How did you get in? You-You pervert! How do you know where I live?" She said as she began to hit me on my chest.

"Shh, I'll explain."

"EXPLAIN!" She whisper-yelled.

It was then that I realized I couldn't explain anything to her. We were mates but she was human and she'll freak out if I tell her about what I am. What do I say? Oh you know I saw you with another unmated male wolf and he had his fucking arm over your shoulders and we're mates and I get jealous. Oh god, how do I get out of this situation?! I blame my wolf for convincing me to come here. I put my head in the crooks of her neck and inhaled her scent. It calmed me down.

"What the fuck did you just say?! What are you? What are mates?" She asked curiously but still angry, narrowing her eyes. Shit she heard what I said. I didn't think I said that out loud.

"Oh I heard it alright." She smirked. She looked hot. I shook my head. Not the time to think about that Craig.

"Uh, I'll get going then. Bye!" I was going to open the bathroom door to leave but she stepped in between the door and I.

"What are you hiding, Craig? Tell me!" She taunted. Why is she so curious?

"Nothing." I said and I lift her up. She squeaked and hit me. Aww.

I opened the bathroom door and walked to her bed. I put her down and walked to the window to leave.

"Hey don't leave! Give me answers! How the hell did you know I live here!?" She whispered, and then her eyes widened dramatically. "Did you follow me home?!!"

I stifled a laugh at her cute panic moment.

"Nah. I have my resources." I winked and got down from her window.

She walked to her window and looked down at me.

"How did you get down so fast?"

"Uh, I practise a lot." I said. "Hey Kols, would you go out with me tomorrow?"

I was nervous. Very nervous.

"Why would I want to go out with a pervert who sneaks up on girls?" She huffed.

My wolf was angry at her for calling us a pervert. I pushed him down.

"Yeah. Kay bye." I ran into the forest just across the road and when I was pretty deep in the forest, I shifted into my wolf. My wolf was black.

Koletta's POV:

When Craig left, I was left confused yet relieved that he didn't hurt me. I felt.. safe around him. I am really confused, what was he talking about?

He's our mate, duh.

Is that you, Conscience? Or is it my mind imagining this conversation?

Hey don't leave yet! I'm not done!

Conscience, or Reanne, didn't reply anymore. Ugh now I'm super-duper confused.

I decided not to stress over it today and go to the bathroom. I showered and change into new underwear. I don't wear a bra at night since it's really uncomfortable. I put on a Justin Bieber oversized t-shirt that Lia got me a year ago, then went to bed.
