Evelyn woke up to the sounds of her older brother, Brooklyn, banging on her bedroom door.
"Get up or you'll be late! Breakfast's gonna be done in like five minutes." Brooklyn said as he burst through the door.
"We both know that Romeo and Cruz still aren't awake. Wake them up again." Evelyn told Brooklyn as she sat up, reaching for her epilepsy medication and water bottle she kept by her bed.
"You aren't wrong." Brooklyn said as he walked out and shut Evelyn's bedroom door. Evelyn took her medication and went to her walk-in wardrobe to get changed only to be met with Romeo running into her room screaming.
"BROOKLYN STOP IT I'M TRYING TO CHANGE!" Evelyn yelled from her wardrobe. She heard a small reply come from Brooklyn and Romeo and her bedroom door shutting.
Once Evelyn got dressed she went downstairs.
"Ah, Evelyn." David said as he turned around, "We're having pancakes today, do you mind getting the plates out?" Evelyn shook her head and laid the table with knives and forks as well.
"I SMELL PANCAKES." Romeo yelled as he speed walked behind David.
"Brooklyn whatever you're doing stop it." David said before finishing with the pancakes and setting them down on the table. Brooklyn stopped since there was food on the table. "Your attending a fashion show later, so you'll be coming out of school at about one o'clock." David told his children, at least the one's who went to school.
"I was about to say I need more medication, I took my last tablet this morning." Evelyn said, looking up at her father.
"I can't get any today since the pharmacy needed to shut, there's no more pharmacies near us. Romeo do you have any spare? I know we shouldn't do this." David asked, getting nervous.
"I might do. Shall I go check?" Romeo asked before running to his own bathroom connecting to his and Evelyn's room. After a few minutes he came down with a pill bottle.
"Two, they aren't the same medication as Evelyn's though. Their weaker ones and they help seizures, not fainting." Romeo said as he looked over the bottles label. David sighed.
"Take them Evelyn, later though." David said. He knew Evelyn was most likely going to faint at this fashion event.
-----
As Evelyn, Cruz, Brooklyn and Romeo got out of the car and said bye to David and Harper, Evelyn's friend Svea ran up to her.
"Bye! Hey Svea!" Evelyn said as she ran away from her siblings. "I'll be leaving school earlier today for fashion event." Evelyn told Svea as they walked up to their own lockers.
"That'll be fun! I'll look out for photos!" Svea said as she opened her own locker. Suddenly Evelyn got an idea.
"Sve?"
"Yes Eve"
"By any chance do you have some of my epilepsy medication for emergencies? If you don't it's fine." Evelyn said, messing with her hairband that was on her wrist.
"1: I don't think that it's fine if you don't have epilepsy medication and 2: I have two tablets from the bottle you gave me a few weeks ago." Svea said as she handed over the bottle from her school bag.
Evelyn breathed a small sigh of relief. "Their good enough for the event, I ran out this morning and I can't take Rome's." Evelyn explained. Then the bell went and the two girls went to their lesson's.
-----
When it reached one o'clock, Brooklyn went out of his class to get his siblings. He got Cruz first and then Romeo and Evelyn.
"Romeo and Evelyn need to go home." Brooklyn said from the doorway as he saw Evelyn and Romeo putting their things away and standing up. Once they were all heading towards the office, Brooklyn's phone started ringing. "He's outside." Brooklyn said as they started speed-walking.
