When The Mystery Machine arrived at the power plant, it was already sunset. The sunset sky made the already almost abandoned power plant look like it was abandoned.
Shaggy gulped and said, "Like, you sure this is the lace Fred?"
"I'm sure of it. Velma got into contact with the manager and asked for complete directions. Now we turned at the abandoned mall, right at the haunted gas station, and we go past the old abandoned mansion were his directions." Fred said as he gt out
The rest of the gang got out and looked towards the power plant, but didn't notice the pickup truck from in the forest had followed them but stayed outside the gates of the power plant.
"Like, why'd this place have to be so creepy?" Shaggy asked himself
Once they had all entered the power plant, The Mystery Machine turned on it's headlights, and it's engine, all without anybody in it.
IN THE POWER PLANT
In the power plant, Mystery Inc. was looking around for anyone, literally anyone, or anything, to provide a clue as to who is haunting the power plant.
While walking around, Scooby started picking p an unusual scent, one even unusual for a power plant.
While following Scooby, what none of them noticed was a pair of tentacles coming out of a nearby vat, but not just a pair of tentacles, but a hand rose up from the vat as well. Meanwhile, Scooby stopped at some sort of note n the floor.
"What's this?" Fred asked as he picked up the note to see what's on it
"It's.....a transcription of part of a conversation between someone named M and someone named Z." Velma explains, seeing two different nicknames on the note
"Like, maybe M, whoever they are, is after something the factory has." Shaggy suggests
"You may be right, Shaggy." Fred replies, hiding the note in his pocket. "And from what was on that note, it seems there's an active vein of oil under this power plant and whoever Z is, they want it."
"Let's go back to The Mystery Machine and get the sheriff." Velma says
Mystery Inc. go to get to The Mystery Machine but once they walk past the vat, some light metal banging was heard behind him. They all come to a halt when a glowing light comes over them from behind.
"Like, please don't tell me the ghost is right behind us." Shaggy asked, legitimately not wanting an answer, though he knows the actual answer already
Scooby was the first to turn around. He opened his mouth to scream but no sound came out. What he saw horrified him.
