"You have no idea where we are going." Sokka said evaluating the map.
"Well I know it's near water." Aang responded.
"I guess we're getting close then."
I peered over the edge of Appa, the only thing visible was the vast expanse of water that stretched out in every direction.
"Momo, marbles please." Aang said. "Katara, check out this airbending trick."
He spun the marbles in his hand so fast that they blurred.
"That's great Aang." Katara said, clearly distracted by her sewing project.
"But you aren't even looking." he said sadly.
She looked up. "That's great."
"But now i'm not even doing it!"
"Stop bugging her airhead. You need to give girls space when they do their sewing."
"What does that mean?" I asked, offended.
"Simple, girls are better at fixing things than guys, and guys are better at hunting, fighting and everything else. It's just the natural order of things."
Katara glared at Sokka.
"All done with your pants! And look at what a great job I did!"
She tossed the half-finished pants at Sokka.
"Wait! I was just kidding! Katara, I can't wear these!" He said as he put his hand through the large whole near the crotch.
"How abut if we ever find Kyoshi Island you can get new pants there." I said diplomatically. "In the mean time, just wear those."
Sokka slumped and made some noises.
**-**
"We just made a stop yesterday." I said, sliding off of Appa.
"Ya, I think we should get more flying in before we stop." Sokka said "By this rate we'll get to the north pole by spring!"
"But Appa's tired. Aren't you boy?"
Appa let out a half convincing groan.
"I said aren't you boy?"
Appa groaned again.
"Really convincing. Still, it's hard to argue with a ten-ton flying beast."
I stared at the barren land around us. Dead trees, snow covered ground, and ocean was all there was to see.
"Look!"
Maybe I was wrong.
"That's what we're here for, to ride the elephant koi!"
I took off my sweater, and then my dress, as Aang too undressed. I plunged into the chilly water and came out in a spiral of water.
"Cold!" Aang exclaimed.
"Not really!" I laughed.
Aang swam over to a large fish and I dove deep into the blue. I searched around looking for something of any significance. To my surprise I found something, a large box. I picked it up and spiraled out of the water and onto dry land.
"There's something in the water!" Sokka cried.
I dried myself and got dressed before looking.
"Aang! Get out of the water!" I screamed.
Aang simply smiled and gave a huge thumbs up. He then flipped off the koi and landed in the water with a thud. Katara came back, a terrified look on her face, I looked and immediately saw why. A giant unagi rose from the water as Aang emerged too. He ran back on land, knocking Sokka off his feet.
