Randall texted me to come to their house after I take a shower and I decided to go even though I knew that they most likely kill me. When I knocked on the door Randall was the one who opened it
"thank you for coming" he smiled
"I hope I won't regret it" I muttered as I walked in.
"Hamish! Lillith!" Randall called them as we walked into the living room
"great job Randall" Hamish told him as he walked into the room
"I thought for sure you were going to help her run" Lillith smirked
"double-crossing ass" I growled "everyone calm down. No one's is killing anyone" Randall told them
"we agreed. Best out of three. You lost, she dies" Lillith reminded him
"y/n landed her first kill. Big bad magic"  Randall said "bullshit"
"tell them y/n. How you let the night runner out cause she sensed bad magic and took down some warlock who preformed it" Randall told me nervously
"that..that happened..I woke up with the remaining of his heart in my teeth" I said in a grosses tone

"this straight-up champion shit and pretty impressive considering she's not even trained" Randall said proudly
"doesn't change the fact she hasn't said the oath yet and that I discovered that she's Natalie l/n's daughter" Lillith growls angrily, whoa, what does my mom had to do with any of this?
"We need to discuss this alone," Hamish told Lillith "what are we going to do with her? We can't just let her go"
"she's right" Hamish sighed before he grabbed me and dragged me down to the basement where jack was for some reason
"you're seriously cool with that?" I asked Hamish
"I'm not enjoying even a second of this y/n" he sighed before he closed the door and locked it "ugh! Can you believe this man! Who does he think he is?!" I asked angrily "your soulmate"jack said causing me to gasp in shock
"my what?" "Your soulmate here read this" he said as he handed me the book he was reading, it said that my wolf, the night runner and Hamish's wolf Tundra are soulmates. I kept reading about the spirits and their champion while jack read about why they eat the heart.
"Hey this isn't a library" Hamish said as he walked in with Lillith and Randall
"your reliquary is almost as good as the order's" jack told them
"reliquary?" "You collection of magical artifacts" I explained
"that's not our" Lillith said "this is magical contraband, confiscated by the knights over the centuries "
"think of it as evidence locker" Hamish shrugged
"well then you might wanna do better job securing it. Some of this stuff is pretty valuable" jack told them
"it's in a basement of a house with three werewolves I think it's fine" Lillith huffed, offended by the fact jack is underestimating them
