* At Gelato-Go's ice cream shop *

"I think you should go" he says as I pause for a moment and glare at him, after all this explaining he thinks I should just give in to them?

"Are you serious, no" I replied while eating my salted caramel ice cream, I need a better venting person because this ain't it.

"Come on think about it, its one night that ain't shit compared to getting cut off.. you too used to the shit you got going on to let some petty shit interfere with yo lifestyle " he says as i start to give it some thought .

He was right, on the other hand, I barely have to lift a finger for things that I want and it would be hard to adapt right off the bat, but I'm definitely going to work on it.

"You're right... but I really don't want to go, because on the contrary if I do I'm basically pushing everything I said and feel to the side"

"this is why I need to get a job and start being more independent, because she always throws that shit in my face" I went on to say before letting out a deep sigh.

This was so frustrating, I'm in college and they're still treating me like a child who needs help to walk.

"I think I can hook you up my cousin, she owns one of the best salons in LA, so I'll  ask her to let you try out for some helpers position or something to start shit off" he replied while taking a spoonful of his cookies and cream ice cream.

"Omg that would be amazing, thank you so much Naujour... that's really nice of you" I smiled as he returned it slightly.

"Mhm"

I laugh and shake my head, before pulling out my phone and going to my mother's messages.

"Happy now?" I said while facing my phone towards him and letting him read the messages "boutique?" He asked as I nodded, she always got my dresses customized to match their theme so I'd stand out from the others; annoying.

"And why the hell you set her name as that" he says while sitting back  and scrunchin his face, he was always doing that I see.

"if you saw how she treats me behind the scenes you would know why".

"I know but still , a lil much" he adds his 2 cents while lookin me in the eyes; "I know I know...". I then take another spoon of my ice cream as I glance over at Toosii and he glared back.

From the tattoos to the grillz and hat slanted to the side.. I got a brilliant idea within a mere second "oh my goodness... you know what would  piss my parents off for sure?" I blurt out with a smirk plastered on my face.

"What?"

"If I got a new boyfriend" I say while smiling from ear to ear (y'all see where I'm going with this) "they love Robert but if I get rid of him and go to the gala with someone else.. they will be PISSED" I replied and sat up in my seat.
