Leaving for college is hard work. You've got to be sure you had everything and it really takes time to get everything ready, especially because you'll get something and forget the other, so it's hard.

I hope I could make friends, since my best friend, Bethany, won't be with me. It'll be hard to make friends because I'm a really closed person and I just don't like doing friends easily. Like what's the point having a friend, all through college, then they just forget about you. That's bull.
Don't curse, Lilly!

Going downstairs, I'm greeted with my mom, which is crying, and my little sister, Livy, which is actually proud and happy since she's getting my room, and finally Beth.

"You've grown up too fast Lilly" my mom said pulling me into a tight hug.

"Mom, you obviously don't need to cry. I'll be back after a month for a visit, I promise."

"Don't you forget about us, young lady" my mom said, sniffing.

"How could I forget about you guys? You're my only family." I said, pulling my Livy and Beth into a group hug.

We stayed hugging each other for God knows how long. It could've been minutes or hours, but I didn't really cared at the moment because it'll be the last hug together for a while.

You could say I'm a mommys girl, my dad died when I was 16. It was very tough and hard but we all got through it together like a family.

I give a tight squeeze into the hug and pull away, tearing up a bit.

"I'll call you guys when I get there, okay?" I said, walking out the door.
I did put my bags into the trunk of my car before so I just grabbed my phone, keys, and purse and I was out the door.
