15: No More Us

Zay POV

I went to Kris' Aunt Lana's house to pick up the kids. They kept asking me questions. I stressed your mom out and she got in a wreck. Now shes in the hospital and its all my fault. I didnt wanna have to say that but it was the truth. But I didnt do anything. How is this my fault?

Diamond POV

Seeing Kristina in the hospital because of Zay is heart breaking. I'm pregnant and I shouldnt even be standing up. I love both of them to death but he caused this and its not right for her to be in the hospital, he should be. He walked back in with the kids and they started to tear up at the sight of their mother being in this position.

I got Kristi and put her to sleep because she was cranky and the twins were sleep. I've been up here for 5 hours and Brandon keeps trying to get me home but I'm not going. Thats my best friend, I aint going nowhere.

5 Days Later

Zay POV

I walked in to see Diamond crying harder than before. She looked up at me and charged at me, but Brandon stopped her.

"You caused all of this! You fucking killed her!" She yelled, kicking, trying to get out of Brandons grip. He was crying too.

"What did the doctors say?" I asked Brandon.

"She may not have a chance of waking up." He said as a tear rolled down his face.

The words replayed in my head. I killed my own wife.

I heard coughing and thought it was just Diamond until I heard a weak voice yell out for Brandon. I looked up to see Kristina looking confused. Her facial expression changed when she saw me.

"Can I talk to Xavier alone please?" She asked with the little voice she had. They all walked out as I walked up to her.

"We need a break." I said hoping she would agree with that.

"No, we need a divorce." She said with tears coming down her face.

"Kris-"

"Please. I cant do this anymore. I've tried to, but I just cant. This relationship has had good moments but too many bad ones. We just cant be together."

I just stared at her as the words played through my head over and over again.

"I still love you, but can you please leave?" She asked politely. I walked out and didnt know what to do. I guess we're done.
