I walked along the bright pale beach. My feet sinking into the damp sand. The water had a glowing aqua that could make anyone stop. On the horizon, I could see the bright colored coral reefs. Taking in a big gulp of air I set my bag down. 'Jesse should be here soon'.

Jesse had short curly hair. I found her hair to be the most beautiful shade of red I had ever seen. It was copper and whenever the sun or any form of bright light hit her hair it was like it was on fire or glowing. Even though she works as a retail employee, she could definitely be a model or actress. It's not only her good looks, but she also has an amazing personality!-

" Hey! Are you ignoring me?" I turn to look at the teasing light-hearted voice.

" Sorry- The ocean looks so beautiful today" I replied, not bothering to look at her longer. I can hear her pout before she starts to unpack her things. I look down at my crimson bag, crouching down I open the draw-string and unload my (f/c) seal towel. You see I have loved any form of aquatic life. From the small cells and bacteria to the whale shark. I want to work at a wildlife reserve but at the moment that didn't seem possible. Sitting the snacks down in the cooler Jesse brought. I turn over to Jesse taking off her cover-up.

I get up to take off my yellow cover-up and start heading down to the water. I turn around to yell for Jess only to be greeted with our campsite-

"Hey, what the fuck!" I shout after I being pulled into the cold water. Landing on my bum I look up at the culprit in a disproving glare. Jesse just looked at me with her big eyes and a toothy grin. The toothy grin that they know what they did.-

" You're an asshole you know" My voice a little threatening.

"Awe You know you love it silly" She laughs and continues to go into the water. I decide to pursue her. We reach a comfortable height where we can touch the bottom of the floor but still be able to have our shoulders out of the water if desired.

Today had been rather calm and the sand sits still. The water crystal clear being able to see my feet perfectly as if they weren't in the water. My and Jess watched different fish ranging from translucent to bright and exotic. The sun giving the water the crystal glow as the waves moved back and forth of the incoming tide.

After a few hours of swimming, eating, and overall chatting the sun was setting. Jesse and I deiced that we would pack up and hangout another day when we were both free.

478 words! Not a lot but this is the first chapter- I promise as I get into the story more the chapters will make them longer! Also could you guys tell me what you think of it so far? :)
