Silence is all that filled this empty 1 story house. Silence is my only company in the house. Silence is the only thing I can hear. I walk into my white and gray kitchen to grab a bottle of water so I can stop my throat from being dry. I look at my living room from the kitchen memories of when I was not so alone flooded in my mind making it the only thought available. I start to tear up but just blink away my tears. "Love is Bullcrap!" I thought trying to make myself slightly better. "I never needed Love in my life i am better off without Love!" I thought again trying to cheer myself up, but more and more memories of the beautiful love I once had replayed in my mind teasing me. I hear a knock at the door. I didn't know what or who was there I just thought I probably bought something from Amazon. I walk up to my dark gray front door and decided not to look the peep hole thinking it was a Amazon package. But when i opened my door I was met with a beautiful yet hurtful sight. I look him up and down taking what he was wearing. He was wearing a black hoodie with a black short sleeve shirt above it, with some plain dark wash jeans that were a little bit baggy. "Wrong house." I said emotionless and tried to close the door but he stopped the door before I could close it. "Wait let me explain." He said quickly "Fine, come in." I said knowing he would just bug me until I let him in. He walked into my plain gray and house I'm just noticing how gray my house is. "Ok I'm sorry. I-." He paused I look at him in a uninterested look but really i wanted to cry. "I love you but it's ok if you don't like me back." He said(yes they were only best friends HAHA!). He looked at me hesitant, I just looked at him trying to process what happened. "So you ignored me for 3 weeks because you liked me?" I asked confused "No- Yes? I don't know, I was scared to tell you so I tried to make my feelings go away by ignoring you." He said looking down at the floor trying to avoid awkward eye contact between me and him. "Well i like you too." I said calmly trying not to basically yell and squeal, after I processed what happened it hit me my best friend who has been my crush for 3 years likes me back! Long story short he asked me out and we became boyfriend and girlfriend.
