Kalos is a beautiful place. Many people were busy opening shops to start a new day. The chirping of the birds awoke the honey blonde girl with ocean blue eyes. In a small yet beautiful house the girl rubbed her eyes, sitting on her bed as she woke up. Mumbling things like how she wanted to sleep and not go to work, she got up and went to her bathroom to get ready for the day.

[A few hours later]

Opening the doors to the small café, she went inside the staff room and started doing her work. Not a single customer was there yet the café was open.

"Hey Serena!" A feminine said, a brown haired girl of her age entered the café.

"Oh... hey May, morning!" Serena said, as she greeted her only friend with a smile who greeted her back.

"No school today huh. It's good we got work to do so we won't be bored! Let's get started!" May said, grinning at her.

"Yeah!" Serena said, grinning back at her, her blue ribbon moving a little bit.

"Oh, I see. You still have that ribbon. I really want to meet that boy of your dreams!~" The brunette said, teasingly.

Serena blushed, her cheeks turned pink as she smiled and placed her hand on top of her precious blue ribbon. Her mind wandered off to the almost faded memory from a summer camp.

Lost in the pallet woods, the seven year honey blonde girl shivered out of fear as the forest got deeper. The trees seemed to grew tall and the forest seemed to get more dark. The honey blonde was lost and scared. She never wanted to come to this summer camp but her mother had forced her and told her to make friends and enjoy the summer camp.

"Ow!" She said, falling in front of a bush and scraping her knee.

Tears threatened to fall from her ocean blue eyes as the bush moved a little. She got scared, thinking it was some animal which can harm her. She was scared and she just wanted to go back.

To go back to her mother and hug her.

To escape her fear and embrace the warmth of her lovely mother.

"Hey... you okay?" A boy with raven hair and hazel brown eyes asked, walking out of the bush.

He seemed familiar.

She didn't know why but she felt happy to see him, her heart was beating fast, so fast that maybe he was able to hear it. It took her a few seconds to notice that he was walking towards her. He looked a year older than her.

"Hey, what happened? Are you okay?" He asked, hazel brown meeting ocean blue.

"I-I... hurt my knee..." She mumbled, only for him to hear and looking away.

She was feeling very different yet it was good. She wanted to run away from him yet she wanted to cry in his arms. Her cheeks were turned pink. She looked up to see his brown eyes shining indicating that he had an idea.

"I'll help you!" He said, pulling out a handkerchief, grinning at her.

She didn't know what to do as she had never felt anyone touch her except her father who dosen't even love her, her mother who love her so much and her mother's best friend who is like a mother to her.

"Here..." He said, slowly wrapping his handkerchief around her bruised knee.

Her face heated up she felt his hand on her knee as he wrapped the handkerchief around her bruised knee.

"There you go! Watch this!" He said, as his hands hovered over her bruised knee that was wrapped in the handkerchief.

Curiously, she looked up to see a small yet warm smile on his face and his eyes shone. She smiled a little as seeing him smile made her smile for some reason she didn't know neither she wanted to.

"Pain pain go away! Go away!" He said, hovering both of his hands above the handkerchief acting like a wizard.

She giggled as she watched him chanting it over and over again. He looked up at her and gave her a goofy grin. She smiled at him as she tried to stand only to fall back on the grass when her knee hurt.

"I-It still hurts..." She mumbled, sadly looking at the ground.

"C'mon... you can do it! Don't give up until it's over, okay?" He said, as he stretched out his hand for her.

She was surprised, something sparked in her at those six words and she took his hand. Her heartbeat fastened as her soft, small hand was in his warm hand. He suddenly pulled her up, causing her to unintentionally hug him making her cheeks turn pink. She pulled away from the hug still holding his hand, looking at him with her ocean blue eyes.

"See? You did it! Now, let's get back to the camp." He said, grinning at her and making her slightly nod.

They held hand as they walked out of the forest and back to the camp.

Together.

"...ena? Serena?!"

Blinking a few times, she looked at the brunette who was calling her name and looking at her worriedly.

"Yeah, May? Did you say something? I zoned out, sorry!" Serena said, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly, one of the habits she picked from him.

"Never mind..." May said, shaking her head at the honey blonde.

"Alright, girls! Get ready, people are filling in!" A voice said, making the two friends nod and start working.
