Blood would trickle down a thick blade as a boy laid dead on the floor. A teenage girl around the age of 16 stood in front of the body, motionless.

What did I do..

Her body would begin to tremble as she fell to her knees. Shaking the body violently, she would start to cry out. The words she cried were hard to make out except for "sorry" and "helpless". Tears continue to pour from her eyes as she screamed and hugged his body. Blood would soak her clothes from her socks to her dress. Her screams and cries would come to a halt when she broke into a mumble.

"Please..please don't leave me.."

The body would lay motionless as their chest would be at a stop indicating no breathing. They were dead. No..no they can't be. That can't be true!! All those memories and moments stop. Not now.
It couldn't have been real..no.

..But it was.

He was dead. There was no going back.
The area around her would begin to spin. It was as if the lights were flickering. Her vision would fade in and out as she fell onto her side. This was it. The moment that she was going to die. Wow..such a way to go out.

Everything soon would fade black and there was nothing.

Until there was something.

A white light.
As if someone was calling her name.

"Jessie!"
"Jess!"
"Hey! Wake up!"

She would sit up and look over to her side. A boy around her age with scruffy blond hair and blue eyes smiled back at her.

"Come on! Were gonna be late for school!"

His hand would reach out and pull her out of bed. She would look around but the house didn't seem familiar..but it did in a way? It was as if she had been there before. Jess checked her phone but it wouldn't turn on. She followed the boy down the stairs and to a kitchen. It had a small table in the middle surrounded by counters and a tiny window. The outside was so beautiful through the window. So peaceful. But..she had never seen it before. The boy smiled at her and sat down at the table. A plate containing eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with a small cup of tea sat in front of her on the table. She slowly say down and looked at him. He didn't seem to notice as he began to eat. The food smelt and looked real. Jess would bite into her eggs and continue to stare at the boy. The food tasted real too. He would stop eating all of a sudden and look at the table. This startled the girl as she got chills. His eyes darted straight toward her eyes as his smile widened.

"So how are your parents?"

She shot up out of her seat and glared at him.

"Where am I?!"
