"Can you believe it, there will be a transfer student at our school this year! "

"Don't you think it's strange though, transferring at the last year of school?"

"I reckon something's wrong with her."

"Maybe it's her family moving back here."

"Cedric's here!"

"Where?"

"Bloody hell, he can kidnap me, and I would not mind."

"Well hello there Pretty Boy," Hannah greeted Cedric, eyes glued on the fireplace, sipping on her cup of 'tea'.

"Pretty Boy, huh, where did that come from? And, no, you're not fooling anyone, I can smell that Firewhisky, you're underage for Merlin's sake. Throw that away," Cedric replied, taking a seat next to her on the couch, resting his eyes after a long day.

Hannah grunted and took out her wand, "Evanesco*."

"Anyways, I can't believe you haven't heard, Pretty Boy is what the Weasleys are calling you," she continued, facing Cedric.

"Well, I can't say that I dislike the name," Cedric mumbled, eyes still shut.

"Yikes, sod off. I don't need you bothering my 'me time' head boy, shoo," Hannah shooed Cedric away, pushing him a little.

"You're such a pain, I'm the head boy, not anyone you can shoo away. You're just lucky I'm kind," Cedric replied, slightly annoyed, standing up from the couch.

"How're you doing, Shawn?" he asked his best friend.

"Eh," Shawn replied monotonously, "Have you heard though?"

"Is there something I'm supposed to know?" Cedric asked, curious.

"Rumor has it that we will be having a transferee," Shawn informed the school's heartthrob. "She's not just any transferee, because she's transferring in her 7th year which explains why it became a hot potato. I can't believe you haven't heard. She's all everyone has been talking about for the entire day, I'm honestly starting to grow sick of it," he looked at Cedric, questioningly.

"I was helping Professor Sprout the entire day," Cedric answered Shawn's unspoken question.

"Makes sense," commented Shawn, nodding his head, finally able to pull the strings together.

Suddenly the common room was washed over with pin-drop silence, confusing Cedric and Shawn who were conversing casually, used to the warmth in the noise of chatters, making them both shiver from the ghost-silence.

Cedric turned his head to see a foreign face, one that he has never seen before around.

"Shawn, when is she transferring, again?" he asked his equally dazed friend whose eyes were also still stuck on the girl by the door.

"I think that's her, " his friend answered, still dazed, eyes never leaving the girl.
