Lalisa's mother was a hospital owner. She always believed that patients in coma or when they are in deep sleep, they still can feel the presence of the people around them. She had seen many similar cases over the years. She believes that our heart it's the strongest muscle in the human body, connected directly with our souls and despite it keeps alive physically it's also the cause of our deep existence.

Have you ever feel like dying inside?
Like your soul is in pain?
The cause to all this is love.

And that's how she raised her daughter. 'Always listen to your heart baby girl', she used to say. That's why Lisa could easily sacrifice her life over Jennie's.

Lisa's mother carefully took Jennie's hand and guided her to her daughter's room. She believed that her daughter needed Jennie's presence just as much as Jennie needed Lisa too and maybe, just maybe, she would fight harder in order to see the woman she loves again.

They finally reached the door of Lisa's room, brown and dull like all the others on the hospital, but you could already see there are people inside.
"Well, here we are," Lisa's mother smiled kindly and opened the door wider.
Lisa's father and a nurse surrounded her hospital bed, attaching IV's, heart monitors and oxygen tanks to her.

Jennie felt her heart stop beating at the sight of Lisa's lifeless pale body lying on that hospital bed. The view of Lisa being helpless on a hospital bed broke her heart in million pieces. Her kneels weakened and she grabbed the corner of Lisa's bed to support herself.

"Are you alright honey?" Lisa's mother assesed her and with wide steps was already by her side holding her by her waist.

"She shouldn't be here! She is not ready yet!" Lisa's father said worriedly looking at them

"No, no! I...I am fine!" Jennie protested.

She didn't even greeted Lisa's father. At the moment she saw Lisa like this, she forgot everything and everyone. The only think she cared about right now was Lisa.

Her eyes were already tearing up. She scratched her forehead and averted her gaze from Lisa, thinking how things have gone so bad on a normal day. They were supposed to be celebrating now as a family they have become after the years they live together, not being in a hospital like that. Fearing of losing someone she loves so deeply. Not knowing if the next minute or second she ll still be here.

"Marco, let's give them some time" Lisa's mother motioned her husband to follow her outside so Jennie can have some time alone with Lisa.

"Jennie dear, if you need something or you are not feeling well just call us, we'll be right outside. Take your time" Mr. Manoban said her and patted Jennie's shoulder.

Jennie just nodded and waited for them to exit the room. The moment they closed the door she finally could let her tears flow freely. Rolling down her cheeks, burning her. She moved next to Lisa's bed and sat at a chair. Her feet couldn't take it anymore. One more minute and she would have collapsed.

She sat there quietly, keeping her eyes on Lisa's face, matching her breaths to the beeping sounds of the machines that surrounded the bed. The only indication of her heartbeat, her existence. Jennie gently touched her hand and it felt so familiar. Her touch. Her warmness. She recalled the night before the shooting, when they were sleeping together. Jennie had been awake for a while in her own bed that morning and was staring at Lisa, sleeping. Like an angel beside her. How much she wished that morning to be able to sleep and wake up next to her everyday for the rest of her life.

But she had to hold back her feelings and wants because of that cruel world of show business that she voluntarily become part of. Back then, she didn't know how true love feels after all she was too young to know and care of that matter. But now, things changed she got to meet this ball of sunshine and fell hard for that big heart of hers, her doe eyes, her smile, her dorky attitude, everything. She is just perfect in every aspect.
