"Mom am home "I said pushing the front door of our house open ,I drop my bag on the sofa , carrying the ice cream take out I got for my mom to the kitchen when I heard low sobs ,I saw my mother backing me sitting on a stool ,her knees pulled to her chest

"Mother what happened "I asked droping the takeout and moving quickly to squat beside her

"It allergies "she said after the shocked look on her face was replaced by a smile "when did you get here "she asking bringing her leg down as they searched for her fur slides

"Am not dumb "I said standing up and moving towards the the refrigerator picking out a bottle water ,I made sure to show her how angry I was

"Alma ,please don't do this to me "she frowned walking up to me to hold my shoulder but I moved away before she could touch me

"You said it was allergies, I will be upstair "I said about to turn on my heels and leave

"No wait up, Alma"she rushed out

"Yes "I turned around to look at her in the eyes she was playing with her fingers, It was like her mind was playing tug of war between if she should tell me or not

"What "I asked ,I don't want to be sitting she should just tell me

"You will sit down Lexi Alma da Rosie or forget about it "my mom snapped, I wasn't the only hot headed person in my family

"Am all ears tell me why you payed for that damn school when the school fee would pay for our year rent and there will till be spare cash"I snaped again

"Lexi  this is damn reason I don't tell you shit, you won't let me explain and what a choose to do with money is non of your damn business"my mom snap angrily saying up from her stool to pace the room

"Oh it is mother it is "I chuckled "that money Is been spend on me so it is ,I told you I was all ears didnt I "I snap equally angry

"Lexi I didn't tell you this so we would fight just the money for your schooling can't be compromised "she tried beginning clam

"Oh so it okay by you for us to be homeless as long as I go to that damn school"I yelled ignoring what she first said

"Alma you will never ,ever be homeless I will figure somthing out ,we just need a smaller house "she said "it just two of us "she added
