Five and I were running across the hallway playing laser tag,- which I was doing to cheer him up cause he's been feeling down lately- which was hard because every time I tried to tag him, he'd always space jump out of the way.

"Can't you hold still for a moment?"
"You were the one who wanted us to use our powers, so stop whining." He retorted with a smirk. I sighed and tried to laser him again, but then mom walked by.

"(Y/n), Aiden, you two behave. We don't want to go destroying things round the house now."

"Yes Mom!" Five and I said in unison. She walked away and I smirked and tagged Five as he was distracted.

"Gotcha! You're it!" I started running and he chased me, but then he space jumped in front of me, scaring me.

"Pfft, it didn't even take five seconds." He said with that stupid cute smirk on his face.

"Hey! Not all of us have the power to space jump you know."

"Are you saying my powers are cooler than yours? Oh wait don't need to say it, they actually are." He gloated and walked towards the kitchen. I glared at the back of his head and moved to laser him, but he space jumped again making me hit a glass mug.

"Missed me darling." My breath hitched as his voice sound in my ear. I turned but he had already space jumped again. I humped in annoyance, he was teasing me.

"Over here." I turned and blasted, but he space jumped again and my laser hit Dad's priced glass figurine. I held my hand over my mouth as Five appeared next to me.

"Five, Eight, what are you doing?" Dad asked angrily picking up his broken glass figurine.

"We were just having a little fun." Five answered for us.

"How many times do I have to tell you, your powers are strictly for work and to go messing around"

"But dad…"

"Now you two, to your rooms. Now!" Five glared at him and I held his hand pulling him with me upstairs. We head to his room and he shut the door harshly, falling to his bed in frustration.

"Dad doesn't just understand." I went over to him, sitting on the side of his bed and I started stroking his hair, I knew he liked when I did this cause he smiled up at me and sighed softly.

"But there's nothing we can do about it, Five. I mean he is our dad." Five gave a face of disgust.

"Yeah well I'm tired of following each and every one of his dumb orders, what kind of dad treats his wards like lab rats?" I gave him a sad smile, but then he sat up suddenly.

"I could run away." My eyes widened.

"What?!"

"I'll plan the escape very well. It could be at night or maybe even early hours of the morning…"
