Prologue

A card game has two sides, the face and the back.

It may have identical size and shape from the back but you'll never know whats's the face until the owner laid it out.

Backs are normally indistinguishable, while the faces may all be unique, or there can be duplicates.

In every card you draw from the deck will show an undecided number.

Only you who can venture if you want to fold or keep playing.

As I land on Manila, one of our drivers was already waiting for me.

"Where's Dad?"

Kinuha na ni Kuya Lando mula sakin ang tinutulak ko na trolley.

"Singapore po Miss.." I just nodded and wore my black irregular rimless small glasses that completed my look.

Wearing my off shoulder frilled knitted crop top, revealing some skins paired with plain skinny jeans with my gucci belt to add more style, and a pair of white flower chunky heel slides sandals na mapapalingon ka sa tunog ng bawat pagapak ko.

Napairap nalang ako sa mga taong nakatingin sakin.

Ang iba ay umiiwas ng tingin while some were looking at me like I was some kind of a meal.

Perverts.

It's not that wala akong pakialam, nasanay nalang talaga ako. Dahil kahit gaano pa ka disente ang suot mong damit, titingin at titingin pa rin yan.

"Miss pahintay nalang po dito kukunin ko lang po yung sasakyan.." he said when we reach the exit and left the trolley to me.

I just smiled at him saka siya patakbong tumawid. Wala naman akong choice.

Damn, ang init sa Pilipinas.

I scoop my long straight jet black hair and put it in my right shoulder. While I fan myself with my hand, a lean looking man approached me.

"I think we know each other before I just.. " nag aalinlangan niyang sabi.

Wrong. I don't even recognize him at all! But he was kinda cute i'll give him that and his way of clothing looks clean which I like.

"Really?" I said scoffing and he smiled laughing. He just admitted that he doesn't even know me!

"Yeah I just really want to get your number hahaha.." too bad I don't have a sim card yet. I raised my right eyebrow naughtily and started giving him any numbers I could think of.

He smiled after I gave him the shuffled numbers I can't even remember.

"I'm David by the way." giving out his hand.

"Via." and shook his hand.

I don't usually give off my numbers to strangers and just ask for theirs when i'm not in the mood. So unlucky of him.

Good thing an Audi Avant stopped in front of us.

"I gotta go."

I took my keepall badoulier from the cart while Kuya Lando took the other two large luggages.

"Alright i'll be calling you Via."

He stoop backwards when I entered the car.

I bursted out laughing when the car started moving.

Dumbass.

"Kuya sa condo po ako pa diretso."

Paalala ko lang kahit sinabi ko na kay Mommy yon at pinalinis na din niya. I don't really like the vibe sa bahay plus wala pa si Daddy. Baka kawawain ako doon. LOL.
