"Thanks for today, I had a good time."

"Better than the scavenger hunt?"

"Definitely."

"I'm glad," Wonjin smiled. "But... there's something I want to ask. Why are you here alone?"

"You're alone too."

"I asked first."

"My best friend is spending the summer with his boyfriend. And... that's it. I don't have many friends, actually."

"You don't have a girlfriend? That's hard to believe," Wonjin said, expecting the boy to correct him.

"Nope. I don't have a boyfriend either. Actually, we broke up about a month ago." Hyeongjun made a pause, thinking if he should add something more. "And you? Why are you here alone?"

"All my friends decided to spend the vacations at the mountains."

"But it's summer."

"Exactly. That's why I'm here. Alone."

"And your-"

"I'm single."

They both smiled, knowing that the other boy wanted to spend the vacations together.
