Chapter 1. Fresh start

"Leah, come on we're gonna be late". Screamed Leah's mom from downstairs. "Sorry mom I just had to get the rest of my bags". With that said they pack their stuff in the car, and head out not looking back. "Hey mom what's the new place gonna be like it surely can't be as good as California". Asked Leah. "I know it's not all that great to move again, but it's a fresh start". After that sentence Leah turned from the window to look at her. "So this is how it's gonna be every time someone finds out about who my father is we just pack up and leave". Leah added. Leah's mom doesn't even respond. Instead just keeps driving until they finally make it to Pescadero, San Francisco. "Ah look at that it feels like home already". Say's Leah's mom getting out of the car. All while pointing her eyes towards a big blue house. "Ugh why does home have to smell". Said Leah with a bratty attitude. "Why do you have to be so ungrateful be lucky you even have a house after what your father did to us". Leah's mom said glaring at Leah with judgmental eyes. As she was about to add something else someone cut her off. "Helen"? Asked a strange man walking towards them. "Oh my, David I haven't seen you in forever how's Lily". Said Leah's mom. Leah chuckled. "Nobody calls her Helen anymore now it Janet". Said Leah trying to hold in her laughter. "Hun this is my friend David we are very close we practically took baths together". Said Leah's mom. "Ugh mom to much information". "Oh no not like that we grew up together our parents were friends before we were even born". Leah smiled in relief. "Good cause I don't want a stepdad thingy". As if they totally ignored her they continued talking. "What are you doing in San Francisco". Asked David. "I was gonna ask you the same thing". David smiled awkwardly. "Ugh my mom she is getting old it's my job to take care of her so I guess you can call me a caretaker. Said David trying to stay positive. Just then Leah's phone rung. "Who is that". Asked Leah's mom glancing at the phone. "Chill it's just a friend from back home". Then Leah walks away answering the call. "Hello Jenna". Jenna was Leah's best friend whenever the mean girls would make fun of her Jenna was there to defend Leah. "Ugh, I miss you already why'd you have to move". "I know, I know I didn't want to it's just everything with my dad". Before she can continue Jenna cuts her off. "No, no I totally get it you don't want your secret getting out". "Thank you for understanding". After Leah said what she needed to she hung up. Then walked over to her mom. "Hey can I unpack later I kind of just want to walk around and get the vibe of this place first". "Sure hun but be back by nine". Said her mom. Then she walked off. Walking around town she saw many cute Little shops. She bought some boots and a new shirt. As she walked a little longer she started to get thirsty. Walking in she noticed it was empty. "Hello". She echoed. Just then a man popped out. He was tall, slick black hair, shiny blue eyes, his skin shined in the light."Uh can I help you"? He asked. "Oh I am sorry I just thought this was a coffee shop". Said Leah. He then chuckled. "Um well it was until it didn't get enough business so I had to close up shop for good, nobody but me has been here in six years". "Ah I see so you are a loner like me". His face suddenly changed from happy to sad. "It was a joke". Just then he ignores the comment that was just made and smiles. "Uh so tell me a little about yourself". "Well I just moved here from San Francisco I live with my mom and well really that's all". "There has to be more to you". Leah scrunched her face at that comment. "Is that a compliment"? She asked. "I honestly hope so I wouldn't want to insult someone as beautiful as you". Leah can't hide her attraction to him her blush says it all. "I know we just met but I really want to kiss you". Said the man. "Then kiss me". She replied. Just then he leans in closer...closer...closer until, there lips touch. He wraps his arms around her. The kiss deepens his tongue brush's against her lips opening them. When their tongues meet they fiddle with each other. He then lifts her up onto the counter. Leah raps her legs around him pulling him closer. Until they come up for air. They both breathe heavily. They kiss again but this time more intense more interesting. He bites down on her bottom lip, making her moan deeply. The rest of it was a blur. When they were finished she lost her pants lucky her underwear were still on. She was able to find them quickly. Before leaving she turned to the man. "What's your name again just in case I see you around". He smiles and looks up. "Jack". Then she left smiling. She checked her phone to see what time it was but she gasped when she saw it was 1 am. She ran home. When she got there her mom was on the porch angrily staring at her. "Mom I-" . Before she can finish her mom over talks her. "Don't bother I know where you've been"....
