It wasn't a part a our plan to skip our last day here in Singapore in order to rest and take the flight home earlier. Exhaustion was starting to seep into our veins as we finished our last show for the world tour. We had been touring around the world starting from North America and up to our last here in Asia. Since the tour started, we never had the chance to get a complete 8 hours of sleep. Most of the time, we'd be working and rehearsing for several hours and the remaining few hours will be our time to prepare and rest. And despite, I was still having all the energy I needed on stage and through all the interviews especially when I see the crowd who got me more pumped up on stage. But my body could no longer hold on the weight now. We do owe ourselves some rest.
"Is it safe to conclude that I'm still high from everything that happened yet too tired to be high," Toby murmured as he flopped on his own bed.
"Don't worry brother, you're not the only one," I said, my voice sounding groggy.
Riley on the other hand was lying beside me and got his eyes closed. I tought he was already asleep but then he suddenly spoke, "But honestly, it is one of the most memorable we have other than our Europe tour before."
One of the best parts of touring was performing with other great artists who shared the same passion as ours. We shared the stage along with other bands and artist while meeting our fans who never fail to support us. And the best part was the heartwarming experiences we have in the end. And I suddenly hoped that she's with us witnessing this new success of the band. I miss her so much.
"Hell yeah. I got to meet different faces from different places," Toby added.
"Don't forget the beautiful hotels...like this one. And the food,' said Riley.
"That's true," I pointed a finger at him, suddenly remembering how I almost threw up the food I was chewing during a radio interview. Goodness gracious, that was totally embarrassing.
Toby laughed, "I believe you also love that food during the interview. I don't need to mention where and when."
"I pity watching you that time bro especially on how you looked," Riley said, looking at me.
I laughed along with Toby as I asked, "Was it really bad?"
"Nope it wasn't," Riley said while shifting his eyes at our Toby's direction
"It was very very bad!" Toby teased.
I couldn't help but feel bad about it. Thinking of how I look like just makes me want to dug a hole on the ground and hide myself forever.
"Okay. Alright, shut it. I don't want to hear any of it anymore," I said, doing my best to supress my laughter.
Changing the topic-because I don't want to remember how embarrassing that was, I started another conversation. "I still cant believe we've come this far. I'm so glad I have the best brothers in the world."
"Awe, I love you two," Toby said.
Riley growled, "Okay, you two really need to rest now. That's lack of sleep showing right there."
"Come on, Riley. Just say you love us too," I chuckled, exchanging glances with an all smiled Toby.
"You already know it so can you now allow me to sleep," said Riley.
