I need you guys advice in this, I'm kind of confuse on it but I don't want to be hated by anyone....

Okay it goes like this....

On the 22 of this month, My friend invited me to her Cousin birthday party. I thought it was an outdoor party so I went all out, by all out I mean dress up in a black jean, tank top and jean jacket with full glam makeup, on getting there, I discovered that it was indoor and a family party, I was angry with my friend because she didn't tell me and I was over dressed with the makeup and all, she apologized and I was okay with her apology.

Her cousin keep staring at me, even when I made eye contact with him, he didn't look away. After the party, he asked for my number and I gave him, I didn't have a boyfriend so why not give him a chance, that was my thought...

We start to chat later that day, he said he wanted to see me the next day which was on the 23. I was fine with meeting, it just a date. I told my friend and she told me that the guy has a girlfriend. I decided to ask him and his reply was that he wasn't married or engaged, so he is open for dating. I wasn't okay with it, that was like cheating on his girlfriend, I told him I won't be able to go out with him the next day, he kept on asking why, I didn't say anything.

He kept on asking to meet, so I just decided to just meet him and after that stop talking to him. We went out on a date today... Being 25 of June.

What do you guy think I should do,
Ignore him?
He has a girlfriend and I will be like a slut, won't I?
Pls I need your advice on this. I don't want to be a bad person but I do like the guy...
