PROLOUGE
Lexi's P.O.V
I smiled a fake smile for the camera's, the flashing lights almost blinding me. I posed this way and that way, waiting for the camera men to eventually get a shot good enough for the cover of Seventeen.
Three hours later
I walked into Starbucks, my hoodie up covering my long dark hair, and keeping my head down low, hoping not to be recognized.
"Can I have a caramel mocha, please?" I asked the young lady at the counter with a tired smile, praying she wouldn't know who I was.
Her jaw dropped. "Omg, are you Lexi Watson? I'm, like, such a huge fan! I've seen all of your movies!" She squealed excitedly.
I shushed her before she could attract the attention of other customers. "Yeah, that's me. And thanks. Do you mind keeping quiet, though? I'm kinda tired right now, so . . ." I trailed off.
"Oh, yeah, of course! Can I have an autograph, though?"
I signed a napkin she gave me with a black sharpie as she made my coffee. "Thanks." I smiled gratefully as she handed me my coffee, giving her the now autographed napkin. I handed her my credit card, but she insisted on giving it to me for free. That seemed to happen a lot. It was really nice, but it made me feel like I was some stuck up person that got whatever they wanted. I walked down the California streets to my current hotel. Thankfully, it didn't seem like the paps had found me yet. I walked into my room, flopping straight on to my bed and falling into a rough sleep.
I giggled. "Louis, stop! That tickles! Louis, I'm serious! Stop it!" I tried to sound serious, but my giggles weren't helping me out.
"Say you love me," Louis demanded playfully.
"Never!" I cried.
"Well, then . . ." He moved his hands down to my feet, and continued his tickling.
"Louis? Please?" I gave him my puppy face, and he smirked.
"Sorry, babe. Not this time. Not until you say you love me."
I looked at Lou seriously. "Louis?"
He noticed the serious look on my face, and immediately stopped his tickling. "Yeah, love?"
I was silent for a minute. "Love?" He tried again.
"I was just thinking about, well," I bit my lip.
"What's wrong? You know you can tell me anything, right?"
"Yeah," I sighed. "Just, um, whenyousayyoulovemedoyoureallymeanit?" I spilled out really fast. I looked down red faced.
"What was that? I didn't catch it."
I took a deep breath. "Whenever you say you love me, do you really mean it?"
He lifted my chin, forcing me to look at him in the eyes. "Lexi Marie Alex Watson, I love you. I love everything about you: your laughing, sparkling green eyes, your humor, your sarcasm, your beautiful long brown hair, and, of course, your insane love for carrots." He joked as I laughed. "I love you, and always will. I promise that I will never let anything tear us apart. Ever. I promise." His beautiful blue eyes were full of honesty and love. "I promise." He whispered.
I woke up in a cold sweat. I promise. But all promises were meant to be broken.
Okay, I know that this was boring, but I need to know whether or not I should keep going with this. Pretty please leave your opinions below. :)
