HARRY'S P.O.V

I knocked on Lexi's hotel room door, hoping she'd be here and not out somewhere. I raised my fist to knock again, when the door opened, and Lexi was standing there in sweats and a t-shirt.

"Harry?" Confusion and disbelief was evident in her voice. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I had to make sure that a pretty girl like you is okay after a little breakdown like yesterday." I smirked as she flushed a bright red.

"That's, um, so . . . sweet of you?" Lexi looked flustered and seemed unsure of herself. "Why don't you come in?" She stepped back and opened the door wider. I walked in to her hotel room. There was a wet towel on the floor. She'd probably just taken a shower. Lexi walked over to the bed and sat down, patting the space next to her. I sat down, the mattress shifting as I turned so that I was looking right at Lexi.

"So, Ms. Watson, I've decided to make it my duty to learn everything about you."

She raised one eyebrow at me. "Ms. Watson? Really? And why have you made finding everything out about me your duty? It's a bit stalker-ish."

I grinned. "Well, Ms. Watson," I ignored the eye roll, "Seeing as we'll be working together, I figured I should get to know you." That wasn't really why I wanted to get to know Lexi. I wanted to know Lexi because I wanted to know what kind of girl Louis so in love with. Plus, I figured that if I was going to get her and Louis back together, I would have to know what two lovebirds I'd be dealing with. "So, lets play 20 questions!"

"What?" She looked taken aback.

I groaned. "Oh gosh Lexi, please tell me you've played 20 questions before."

She looked offended. "Of course I've played before! I don't live under a rock, you know."

"Okay, great. So, I'll start. What's your favorite color?"

"Sapphire."

"What's your full name?"

"Lexi Marie Alex Watson."

"Are you currently having boy issues?"

This time, her response was anything but immediate. " . . . Yea, I've definitely got boy issues." She let a forced laugh.

"Who are your boy issues about?" I felt like an interrogator, asking her all these personal questions. But I had to find out whether Lexi still loved Louis or not. Judging from the way she'd acted when she'd met him and from the fact that she still wore the locket, I was pretty sure that she had feelings for Louis.

"That's none of your business." Her voice was quiet and tense.

I huffed in annoyance. She wasn't going to tell me who.

"What's his favorite color, then?"

She hesitated before answering. "It's red." Okay. Lexi Watson was officially having boy issues with Louis Tomlinson.

I decided that the air between us was becoming too tense, so I decided I would lighten it up a little bit. "Are you still a virgin?"

She looked shocked, and I smirked. You don't play 20 questions with Harry Styles and not expect to be asked that question. "I, um." Her face was a bright red. "Yes." I grinned at Lexi, who looked uncomfortable. Oops. So much for loosening the tension. Maybe the next question would do the job.

"Would you rather kiss me or a monkey?"

"A monkey."

I feigned hurt, putting a hand over my heart. "But why? No one ever denies the great Harry Styles!"

She shrugged. "Monkeys are cuter than you."

"Did you seriously just say that a monkey is cuter than this?" I gestured towards my body. Uh-uh. There was no way in hell a monkey was better looking than me.

She nodded. "Oh yeah. Monkeys are definitely cuter than you, Styles."

I shook my head in disbelief. "There's something wrong with the way your brain works. Nobody would rather kiss a monkey instead me."

"I would."

I decided that this argument was pointless, and that Lexi had issues. "Okay, fine, whatever. I get it. You're just hiding your true feelings for me behind a monkey."

Lexi turned beet red. "WHAT?!" She screeched. "You did not just go there." Wow. She got pissed when it can to boys.

I just grinned. "Really, it's okay. I just feel bad that the monkey has to be brought into this as a shield for your feelings for me." Oh, that did it.

She tackled me on the bed, pulling at my beautiful curls. "Take that back Styles!"

"Never! You know that you la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-love me." I started to sing you know that you love me to the tune of Justin Beiber's song 'As Long As You Love Me'. There was a knock on the door, but neither of us heard it. The door opened, and we both turned to see Louis standing there. He looked shocked, and really really pissed. Oh crap. He was taking our current positions the wrong way. I guess it didn't look to great: we were both on the bed, and Lexi was on top of me, her fingers tangled in my curls, both of our faces flushed.

I pushed Lexi off me and she fell on to the floor, glaring at me. I gave her one of my innocent smiles, and then looked up at Louis, who was still standing in the doorway. He turned his glare towards me. He was pissed.

"What the hell is going on in here?" He growled. Lexi looked confused, but I could tell that she had figured out that Louis thought we were had been doing something else on the bed besides fighting.

"Lexi said she'd rather kiss a monkey than me-"

"Monkeys are cuter!"

"So then I said that she was just denying her love for me-"

"You were singing you know that you love me!"

"So then Lexi decided she tackle me on the bed and start pulling on my beautiful curls," I said in one breath. Then I turned to Lexi. "You know it's considered rude to interrupt people."

She stuck her tongue out at me. I tsked. "We're not 5, Lexi dear," I said as if I was talking to a child. Then I remembered that Louis was still here.

I turned to face Lou again. "So that's pretty much what happened. It was good you showed up when you did, I was beginning to worry for my curls." I pointed at Lexi. "She's got a wicked grip."

Louis shook his head. I couldn't tell whether or not he believed me. "Lexi, I have something for you."

"Yeah?" I noticed that when she started talking to Louis, a shield of sorts when up, dismissing her face of any emotion. It was going to take a lot for Lexi to even trust Louis again.

He took the heart shaped locket out if his pocket. "I think this is yours."

She gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. Something like relief flashed across her face before going blank again. "Y-yeah, that's mine. Thanks." She grabbed it from his hand and walked back towards her bed, her hand clutching the locket. Lexi looked at the digital clock on her bed stand before turning to us. "It was great talking to you Harry. I didn't know 20 questions could be so fun."

"I never finished asking you 20 questions, though."

She smiled a small smile. "Maybe we can finish another time, and I'll get my chance to ask you 20 questions. But right now, I've got to go see Carol. It was great getting to know you. I'll see you again at the meeting." She got up and opened the door, our signal to leave. I walked out, Louis following behind me. The door to Lexi's hotel room slammed shut behind him. As we walked out, I heard Louis say something quietly to the closed door, something I don't think he meant for anyone to hear.

"Bye, Lexi. I love you." Louis sighed, and followed slowly behind me as we walked back to our flat.
