"Oh, come on. You have to admit, it was a little funny. Your face was epic, you looked so shocked." She said while giggling. We were making our way to the cafeteria, it was lunch time and she was still going on about what happened in Art class. I was glaring at the floor as we walked trying not to snap at her. "Ok, I get it. I'll stop, I don't want you to ignore me. Let's talk about something else." I sighed a little thankful and opened the cafeteria door. Why can't she just shut her fucking mouth for a little? "What are you going to eat?"

"A turkey sandwich and an orange juice." We walked towards a free table and I placed my bag on it while she did the same.

"You can sit and wait, I'll buy our lunch. My treat." She smiled. Do friends do that? I watched her going to the end of the cafeteria queue while sitting down, lunch time means free time and what I do when I have free time at is reading. It just sort of makes me more relaxed around all of these people, so I either draw or read. I open my bag and search for the book that I'm currently rereading; 'Murder on the Orient Express'. I tend to read crime novels more than any other genre of books ever since I was 11. I've read this book 5 times, but even though I know the story I still read it. I open the book and after taking the bookmark out I start reading.

As the minutes go by, the atmosphere in the cafeteria growns louder and crowded with people. I look around and almost every table is occupied, and the cafeteria queue is bigger. Somewhere in the front I spot Dawn smiling at the cafeteria lady finishing their conversation. She's really friendly. So why does she want to hang out with me when she could be friends with everyone else? I place the bookmark back in the book and put it down on the table as I can't seem to concentrate anymore now that Dawn is going to have lunch with me. I look back at her and she's already coming towards me.

"Sorry for the wait, the line was impossible." She said with a smile and placed the food on the table, sitting down next to me she reaches for her food. "I'm so hungry." She takes a bite of her tuna sandwich and groans. I rolled my eyes and picked my own sandwich up to start eating. "What book is that?" She asks pointing at the book in front of me.

"'Murder on the Orient Express'." I respond simply and she hums in comprehension.

"What is it about?" I chew my food quickly and take a sip of my orange juice to help me swallow.

"It's about a man who was murdered in his train compartment."

"Do you like it? It's an old book, the pages are a bit worn out." She asks interested and I stare at the book while eating.

"I do like the book, old or not the story is captivating." I look at her to find her smiling softly which makes me furrow my eyebrows. She doesn't say anything else but looks behind me, something catching her attention. Her smile turns into a smug one and she looks at me again. I turn my head around to see the bastard that just came in making me annoyed just by being present. He's chatting with the tall bloke I ran into this morning, I don't remember or care for his name. I see two girls walking up to him and getting his attention and he smiles like he always does. It's a polite smile, but no one seems to notice that, the girls are almost daydreaming when he turns to them with the corners of his lips raised.

"You're kinda staring." I hear Dawn whisper in my ear making me jump, I turn to her more annoyed than before.

"Don't do that. And I wasn't staring, I was observing. Pathetic girls." I murmur under my breath.

"There is no difference." She chuckles and I return to my sandwich, rolling my eyes. "Oh, Liam just came in!" Her smile is big and her eyes are full of life, I look behind me again to see Liam and Neil coming in. They join the big wanker and his friend after the girls say their goodbyes. "Liam!" She calls waving her hand at him, Liam and the rest of those arses turn their heads at us and I widen my eyes looking at her.
