chapter 2

Marina rushly opened the car door, immediately getting in.
" sorry, I just had to fixed my hair"
She said catching her breath, while  putting her seatbelt on.
Jungkook reverse the car, leaving their house driveway.
Evelynn smiled, " don't worry about it, we have lots of time to bowl"
" yea, I was just joking when honking"
he said before turning a right on a stop sign.
She scoffed, " you could have said something"
Jungkook bursted into laughter,
" that's sound something Evelynn would say"
Marina realizing her comment didn't made sense. Evelynn playfully hit his shoulder, " hey !"
Jungkook smiled he lifted his hands up like he surrender from the wheel before puttting them back.
" all I said was the truth"
Marina nodded, " true"
Evelynn's mouth open like she was shocked. " y'all mean bye"
Jungkook caresses her cheek while admiring her beauty for a sec before looking back to the road.
" you know I am joking"
She smiled and peck his check,
" I know"
Marina admire their love for each other, she smiled at the small scene that was happening in front of her eyes.
She looked at the window seeing the clouds, zoning out.  She immediately snapped out when she heard them laughing loud about something.

Jungkook and Evelynn knew each other because of their parents. Because of their parents visiting each other often since they were born, and was basically bored from the grown up talk they had grew a close bond and developed strong feelings.
In elementary/ middle school they were known for being that iconic duo.
But they became a trio in highschool, when Marina had transfer highschools in the first semester of freshman year.
Marina could replay the whole scene over and over again when they first met each other.

September 2014

Marina looked for a open seat in her 5th period class which was science.
She quickly spotted an empty chair which is next to two people who look like they were gonna die from laughter.
She sat next to them quietly, them not noticing her continued to talk to each other like it was the end of world until the bell rang and the teacher came.
All the teacher did was pass out a work sheet and do something at his desk.
The class became nosy after that, the boy and the girl who sat next to marina took apart of the nosiness.
Marina just stared at her paper until she saw a cute pen roll on the floor.
She pick up the cute pen, it was a white pen with a grey a bunny and it was adorable.
She decided to keep it, because she didn't know who it belong to.
Marina continue to mind her business until she heard something about a pen.
" where's my pen?"
" what do you mean ? which pen ?"
" the one with the bunny" the boy said.
Her eyes widen and guilt spilled into her stomach. she stays quiet.
the girl shrugged,
" say sike right now"
" I don't have it"
" open your bag right now"
" dude no"
"Open it right now"
She shook her head
" no"
He grabbed her backpack but she grabbed it, making them play a tug of war.
Marina smiled at the scene unfolding,
dumb and dumber.
She pulled out the pen and she started to write on the paper with it.
" jungkook stop !"
" no! give me back my pen-"
He stopped his sentence when he realized his pen was in front of him the whole time but someone was using it.
" my pen !"
He quickly snatched it out of her hands,
" why do you have your hands on my pen ?"
Marina giggled,
Jungkook which she knows his name and the girl looked at her weirdly.
" y'all both dumb and dumber"
and that's how they became a trio.

present

Jungkook interwine his hand with his love Evelynn. Marina walked beside them entering the bowling alley.
It was dark inside but had neon lights that light up the place.
This has always been their hangout spot, but they always go on fridays.

Marina sat on the leather couch,
waiting for her turn.
She took a sip of her sprite before she spotted the cute cashier from the 7 eleven leaving the blowing ally.
His black hair was wavy, he looked very cute.
She sighed, maybe she should talk to him.
