So if you're wondering why I got rid of everything, read this update. The start will be confusing because I originally had this titled as the next chapter of the story but now it's changed since the story is gone anyway. Anyways peace out and fuck Craig 😘

So this was a long time coming lol. Idk how long it's been since the last update tbh but I know it has been a very long time. I'll be honest, I did not think I'd come back to this story for any sort of update after a while because I quit watching the crew a couple of years ago already. I haven't seen any Vanoss videos in years, I barely watch Craig anymore, and I'll say now I'm probably not really going to watch him anymore due to certain recent events. 

Basically SURPRISE this isn't a legit chapter. I wanted to make sure people read this though because I feel people need to be informed about a few things that I have no idea how many of you have heard or if anyone has said to you all on this site before. So please, do read this both for closure on this story and some unfortunate news that has been coming out recently. 

(also if you're in a bad mental state right now, please read this later when you're in a better mental state, this will be talking about some hard topics I wish I didn't feel the need to talk about and most will not make you feel any better)

So to start off, on the topic of this story, I started this whole thing years ago back when I was 15, and it was my five year anniversary on this site with this account just a few weeks ago. I was very obsessed with MiniLadd aka Craig back then and discovered this ship Minicat after a while and I loved to write stories (and I still do) so I decided to contribute my own fanfic to this community and originally had a separate account I started writing on. Unfortunately, I had to delete that account and start anew on this one, where I started this story. It got popular and I had people make fanart for it which still blows my mind so I kept writing. Time passed though and I started to mature and grow out of wanting to watch the crew especially when the Fortnite phase spiked and that's all of what people like Wildcat (Tyler) would play. So I moved on. I watched other people and that's when updates for this book slowed down. I wanted to write more, but I no longer knew what to write for this story. I didn't know the people in this story anymore, so you all saw how I basically quit.

Then, about a year ago, I joined a fandom for another group of YouTubers who were also streamers on the platform Twitch, so my interest began to go over there. I'll be honest, that fandom may be a shitstorm at some points, but they made me realize some things, such as the fact that I am no longer comfortable writing fanfiction about real life people. Yes, they have their personas that play up in videos, but witnessing people be normal humans on stream, and hearing from those people themselves that they are not comfortable being written in fanfiction, I no longer wanted to write fanfiction like this story has become. Yes, Craig and others in the crew have done videos of them reading fanfiction about themselves including ship ones so I know they're not totally against it, but I personally no longer feel comfortable doing so. Overall, that means this is the last update this story will ever receive, but that is not all the information I wish to share in this update. 

Unfortunately, if this is not news you have all heard before or even assumed after seeing some situations, I worry some of you might take this harder but I ask you please open your mind while you read some of this.

It started out a while ago that some content creators began to be exposed for doing some unacceptable things including but not restricted to pedophilia, sexual assault, grooming, or just using their audience members to their advantage through lies and misguidance. It was a couple of days ago when I finally witnessed that situation explode and suddenly content creators were being exposed left and right for being shitty people. I did not know most of the creators, but of the ones I did, it was surprising to learn about their situations. I have witnessed at least two people offer apologies, one was absolute shit their victims did not really accept and the other was more professional, and then completely decide to leave their platform as they knew would no longer receive support and it removed their main source of being able to take advantage of people. 

This movement is massive and branches across many platforms including Twitch and YouTube. While it's shocking to see so much coming out, I am glad people are being exposed for who they are where their audiences may have never seen it. 

In saying this, yes I am leading up to the fact MiniLadd is one of the people being brought up along these topics. No, he has not raped anyone, but his Exes, including his most recent ex Sami, have come forward saying he was manipulative and toxic towards them. I have seen one specific post recently of a person I recognize from Mini's community years ago and she came forward saying that when she was still a minor, Mini had sent her pictures of him showing her borderline sexual pictures she did not ask for as a minor while he was an adult. 

All that has come forward from victims make me glad that I stopped watching him a while ago. 

And he's not the only one.

I saw, just today, Lui Calibre being exposed as well for honestly worse things. He was exposed for being abusive and manipulative with his exes which, in the case I read about, were over 10 years younger than him and just barely in adulthood. What I read was disgusting to learn about and it was also connected a thread of a girl coming forward saying Lui sent her unsolicited dick pics at the age of 15. This is unacceptable behavior and I'm glad he disappeared off the platform years ago.

Right now is not a time to keep your favorite creators on a pedestal and say "oh they couldn't have done that, they never act like that in their videos." Exactly. "In their videos." You don't know content creators. You most likely have never talked to them in their normal environments where they will act like their true selves. Sure they may have donated so much money to charity and helped so many people in the long run, but you will never know how they treat all those closest to them. You could think all high and mighty about someone, but they're human too. They are just as likely to cheat on their significant other or be an abusive, manipulative asshole to their friends as your own friends or significant others are. 

This can't go without saying, however, that all the content creators you may be watching right now are bad. Some are actually genuine and know better than to do the wrong things with their life. They could still know how to be good people and treat all their friends, family, and significant others with the respect they deserve. Please just be aware that knowing one of your favorite content creators is a rotten apple does not mean the rest of the bunch is just as rotten.

People are finally being exposed for what they have done in the past, and I beg of you, please believe the victims. They are being brave and coming forward with their stories and making people understand just who they're supporting, most of the time with legitimate evidence. This is a time to let those who are hurt share their voices and get support in one of their most vulnerable times. 

And I'm sorry if any of this affects you too deeply, but I wanted to make sure the people I could share this with were aware of what's going on. I have had a lot of realizations recently that have flipped a lot of my time on the internet as a child on its head because Craig and Lui were only a part of my childhood and there are hundreds of other content creators being exposed right now if not thousands. I don't have a list of who all the people are, but I urge you all to make sure you're aware of who you're watching. 

Overall though, this is the end of this story. Sorry to have to end it on such a sour note, but I wanted to pass on what I have learned in these situations. I may check comments to try to reply to things, I may not. This is the first time in a long time I have been to this site and it'll probably be one of if not the last. Thank you all for being around for this story as it has started and slowly come to an abrupt ending, and I'm sorry that all you're support has essentially gone nowhere as much as I have appreciated it all.
