I an now following the Undertale fandom so yaaaaaaaaay. God I need to stop. -_-
Ideas:
Person A gets in a bad accident and gets close to death while Person B blames themselves and commits the undead. Then Person A wakes up from there Coma or whatever and see there gone for good. Sad, I know. And the best part you can make this a long and good story and just end it like that and make no second book. Your readers will both hate and love you. Love for making a good book but you end it like that and BAM it's hate.
Another idea:
Person A can see strings that connect people to there soulmates. But there string is cut.
