A/N: I have decided to make chapters a little more shorter because I have small bursts of encouragement to write that's why it takes long. Since I want you guys to receive content often, I will write shortish/a bit long chapters if that's okay. I really feel bad at how the story isn't moving along and this chapter hasn't been all that, but I've planned out next chapter so we good! At that, her heart shattered at the sentence. Sinking aimlessly to the pit of her hollow stomach, floating, drowning in such epitome of abstract pain. Clueless, puzzling, yet such a deep meaning is masked beneath. Her mother certainly was a woman with sevens up her sleeves, like the lousy cheat she was at a complicated game of poker. In simple words, she cheated her own daughter for something worthy, approachable and beneficial. Clearly, she saw Lisa as a cheap stripper or perhaps a prostitute. Drug money. Cash for intoxicating liquor, best of the best.
Lisa was now broken, but when was she not? Again, from the beginning.
Honey eyes stared deadpanned, widening at the anxious woman whose twiddling with her fingers in sympathy at the woman who's lost great earnings. Gold robbed. Life robbed. Now her own self-worth. $0 currently in the bank. Lisa's own lips were quivering at the idea of everything vanishing, disheveled and long, far away from her hold. Jet black mascara meant to be water proof had started streaks down her pale plump cheeks. Hands were trembling silently, pearly whites bit harshly on her velvet tongue, and nothing was heard but the straight beep down from the corridor to her right. Lifeless, she was.
"W-what do you mea..." Pause. Words finally slipped out of her rough, choking throat. "What do you mean she's gone?"
