Inasa smiled warmly at the sight of Todoroki sleeping soundly next to him, wearing his clothes and snuggled into his side. It was a precious sight to see, and frankly, Inasa didn't ever want the moment to go.
Treasure Island was only halfway through by the time Todoroki fell asleep, and Inasa enjoyed the latter snuggling into him while asleep.
When closed, Todoroki's eyelashes look longer and thinner, as though his eyes had wings, and despite being a boy, he had a rather feminine appearance if he was caught at the right time.
"So cute..." Inasa whispered under his breath, laying his head on top of Todoroki's as he basked in the fluffiness of his hair. "I wonder if you'll feel the same..."
Inasa couldn't bear to be rejected by Todoroki. The thought itself made him solemn and defeated, possibly living life alone with some other boy that felt the same to him as much as he loved Todoroki.
Though, Inasa knew to confess the same day they became friends wasn't very logical, especially to someone as dense and hard to crack as Todoroki, someone who has trust issues and inexperience with socializing, let alone romance. Inasa wants to develop their relationship before throwing his confession onto Todoroki's plate, hoping if he waited a bit longer, his chances at Todoroki accepting his confession would rise.
But he didn't know if he could wait that long.
Snapped out of his thoughts, Inasa felt Todoroki secure himself onto his arm, burying his face into his shoulder as his breathing evened out again, the blanket sliding down his shoulder and onto his lap.
A strange feeling hit Inasa as he saw Todoroki wearing his clothes. Not something sexual, but a feeling of ease knowing Todoroki was safe here in his home rather than at Kiyashi Ward or cooped in his own home.
Endeavor was still someone Inasa hated, not just from his rejection that one day, but because he had a strange feeling he wasn't as good a father as he is portrayed to be. Whenever Todoroki glanced at the picture on the wall, Inasa noticed he had run his thumb over his father with a solemn expression, as though he was jealous that Inasa had a smiling father who cared about his family.
Come to think of it, Inasa never knew where the large patch scar on his face came from. It was most likely a sensitive topic that should be asked once they develop their relationship, but Inasa couldn't help but be curious. Did he get it during a villain attack? Maybe someone inflicted it on him, but the scar was most likely a frost burn if anything. Maybe Todoroki accidentally gave himself that scar when his Quirk manifested?
The urge for an answer gnawed at Inasa's mind, but he shook the thought away. Right now, Todoroki was finally relaxing after a hard first day of Summer vacation, and Inasa didn't need to ruin that with his personal questions.
He wrapped his arms around Todoroki's waist, pulling him down with him as Inasa laid down on the couch, letting Todoroki sleep on his chest as Inasa pulled the blanket back over his small figure.
"Night, Todoroki. Sweet dreams." He shut off the TV.
