Marinette was walking home from school when she noticed a group of cats,passed out,on the sidewalk.She quickly ran over too them.She could see the rise and fall of their chests so she knew they were alive.Then one of them,a dark brown tabby tom,opened his eyes.He looked around alarmed. "Where am I?!Harestar!Mistystar!Tigerstar!Leafstar!Jayfeather!Wake up!"Slowly they all started waking,all except one,a light gray tabby tom,he just stood up without opening his eyes. "Where are we?I don't smell the herb scent of the medicine den!"The grey tabby hissed. "Wait!I can understand you?!"Marinette asked surprised.The brown tabbys eyes went even wider. "WE CAN UNDERSTAND EACHOTHER!We can understand a twoleg!"he said alarmed. "Twoleg?Is that what cats call people?"Marinette asked. "If people is what you are than yes."He said. "Hi!I am Bramblestar.the grey tabby is Jayfeather,The cream and brown cat is Harestar,the blue-grey one is Mistystar,the light brown tabby is Leafstar,and the other dark brown tabby is Tigerstar."Bramblestar said. "Where is this twoleg so I can claw its pelt off!"Jayfeather exclaimed.Marinette brought the cats to her house so they could explain who they were.On the way there Mistystar caught a squirrel,Harestar caught a rabbit,and Leafstar a crow.Jayfeather for some reason kept his eyes closed the entire time and followed Bramblestar's scent trail.When they got to her house she took them too her room. "Alright first question.Why does everyone have 'star' at the end of their name except for Jayfeather?"Marinette asked. "Well all of us are clan leaders except Jayfeather,who is a medicine cat. "Bramblestar replied biting into the crow Leafstar caught. "I'm leader of Skyclan,Mistystar leader of Riverclan,Bramblestar leader of Thunderclan,Tigerstar leader of Shadowclan,and Harestar leader of Windclan."Leafstar added. "Alright.Why does Jayfeather have his eyes closed?are his eyes scary or something?"Marinette asked very confused.The leaders chuckled. "I didn't want to alarm you"he said sarcastically. "I didn't know I had my eyes closed!"Jayfeather snapped.Marinette was confused.Jayfeather opened his eyes and he had no white in them and no pupils.Marinette gasped. "HEY! Never seen a blind cat before?"He snapped. "Alright,sorry.so where do you come from?"Marinette asked curiously.Everyone glanced nervously at eachother,well everyone except Jayfeather,he snorted.He then explained all events that have happened from into the wild, too the raging storm. "Marinette was mesmerized. "Cool!"she exclaimed. "soo.....while we are here....do you mind helping us get back to the lake?Our clans need us."Bramblestar asked. "Our deputys can handle the clan!Why not have a little fun?"Tigerstar asked.Bramblestar hissed at him.
