We left off as Chloe and Lucifer in a conversation with each other about their son's power and his devil's face. They are worried that the other kids will not want to be his friend because of his features.
We pick up at Gabriel's school and he is in class and sees someone familiar. Gabriel walks up and sees his cousin Charlie. GABRIEL: Charlie what are you doing here? Charlie: I am going to school here. Gabriel: Me too, we're in the same room. Charlie: I know this is so exciting. We have to tell our parents about who we saw today. Gabriel: Yes we should, I tell my parents and have them invite you guys over for dinner and have a conversation about it. Charlie: Yes you do that and I will tell my parents as well. Gabriel: it's a deal. See you after? Charlie: See you after cuz. Love you so much cuz. Gabriel: Love you too cuz.
Gabriel gets home from school and immediately tells his parents everything. Lucifer and Chloe tell him " that's great honey, I am so happy for you to meet your cousin Charlie at school. Now you have a friend throughout the school to help you". GABRIEL: Mom, Dad can we invite them over to dinner? Chloe: Sure we can! What do you think Lucifer? Lucifer: yes the more the merrier. Gabriel: "thanks so much your the best parents out there." He was so excited that his cousin was going to the same school as him and now he is coming over to dinner. "Can this day get any better? Gabriel said.
Charlie and his parents came over around 6:30 pm for dinner. When Chloe answered the door she welcomed them and gave them all hugs. Lucifer: Welcome brother, Linda and Charlie.how is everyone doing? Amenadile: we're doing great, Charlie came home and told us that he met his cousin at school. Lucifer: Really, the same thing happened with Gabriel. He came home and told us the same thing". Amenadile: That's awesome, I guess now they can spend a lot of time together and help out with their homework. Lucifer:" I guess so". At dinner, they talked about what is going on out there and how they been.
After dinner, they helped each other with their homework. Gabriel and Charlie had a great time hanging out and just being great cousins to each other. Charlie and his parents had to get home in time for his bedtime. AMenadile: " Come on charlie its time to go" Charlie: Dad can I have a sleepover with Gabriel?"AMenadile: Charlie you have school int he morning. you can not have a sleepover tonight." Charlie: But dad, Gabriel's parents can drive me to school tomorrow. we go to the exact same school. what's one more kid on the drive up." Amenadile: Lucifer do you mind on them having a sleepover tonight and driving them to school?" Lucifer: I don't mind at all, let the kids have a sleepover. " Charlie: Thanks so much uncle Lucifer, you're the best." Lucifer: Your welcome and I know that I am the best" Amenadile: Well son, we will see you tomorrow after school then. Have fun with your cousin Gabriel and your uncle and aunt." Charlie: Bye Dad, love you.
Once Charlie's parents left the sleepover began. Charlie and Gabriel had the best time of their lives at the sleepover with Gabriel's parents watching over the sleepover. Gabriel and Charlie danced to a lot of songs and even did Karaoke to one. Even Lucifer and Chloe participated in it as well. Charlie: this is the best night ever, Gabriel do you agree?" Gabriel: I do agree it is the best night ever. Chloe: Guys guess what time it is? Charlie and Gabriel: What time is it?" Chloe: its time for bed, you guys have school in the morning. " Charlie: Can we stay up a little more? Chloe: No I am sorry Charlie if you stay up too late you might miss school and I would have to explain to your parents why you are not at school". Charlie: Okay aunt Chloe. come on Gabriel its time for bed". Gabriel: Okay Charlie, Mom can dad tuck me in bed?" Chloe: Sure Gabriel, Lucifer Gabriel wants you to tuck him into bed". LUcifer: okay I will tuck him in." Gabriel: Dad, can you read a story for me?" LUcifer: Sure what story?" Gabriel: the story of how you and mom met" Lucifer: Okay, well it all started with a case of a murder of a friend of mine". "Your mom was asking me questions about my friend and we immediately hit it off." it took her some time to come to her senses about me. After your mom solved the case unfortunately while interrogating the suspect she was shot while getting the person. I took care of the criminal for her and took her to the hospital. I stayed in her room until she woke up. once she woke up we had a great conversation and then I placed your sister next to her to have some cuddle/bonding time". And that is how I met your mom Lucifer said. Gabriel: Wow dad it must have been awesome working with mom on cases and putting the bad guys in jail." Lucifer: It is awesome son, Now go to sleep you have school in the morning." Gabriel: Night dad, I love you". Lucifer: Night Gabriel".
The next morning both boys get ready for school. they had breakfast, got dressed, and got their backpacks ready for school. Lucifer drove them to school that morning before he left he says to them " Have fun at school and remember if anyone gives you a problem tell me and I will deal with them" Charlie and Gabriel: We will see you after". Throughout the entire school day, they sat next to each other during classes and even had lunch together. Once the school day was over their parents came and took them home. Once Gabriel and Charlie got to their houses they immediately get on the internet to email each other and talk about their day. They spent hours on the computer just emailing each other one another until Chloe and Lucifer came into the room. Chloe: Gabriel why are you not doing your homework? Gabriel: I am doing it with Charlie. Chloe: How is he helping you with the homework? Gabriel: I am emailing him the questions I do not understand and he is sending me the answers to them. Chloe: Okay, make sure you do not stay up to late on the internet or else no computer for a month. Gabriel: okay mom, I will not. Chloe: good boy, Your father is making dinner tonight. Gabriel: what is he making Mom? Chloe: he is making a surprise dinner for the four of us. Gabriel: Oh okay I hope he makes us something good. Chloe: me to, I can hardly wait. Lucifer: Dinner is served. Chloe: what is it darling? Lucifer: its takeout night, I got us to take out and the exact same order as our date but for the four of us. Chloe: that is so sweet and thoughtful of you. You are the best person out there. Lucifer: Your welcome darling. Gabriel and Trixie: this is an amazing dad, taste so good. I enjoyed it very much.
After Dinner Chloe and Lucifer tucked in both of the kids for bed. once they were asleep they had time to be together. They watched tv together and talked about their feelings for each other. they also drank and played games which made them had a moment of actual love for each other. At the end of the night, Chloe and Lucifer were happy to have shared a moment together.
