3rd person POV
Dalton woke up to a surrounding that was not so similar or familiar to the last place he knew he had been in. Confusion was the first thing that occurred to him as the he didn't remember being in this place in a long time. Lifting his head, he started to feel the terrible headache that made him lean back down on the pillow placing him hand under his head for a support. He had his eyes shut as the pain was a bit too much for him. As he thought after a little while later the headache Dalton slowly opened his eyes again but his view wasn't very much clear yet but he could slightly see the figure of a man that appears to be walking over to him but the sudden headache came back. Even more painful this time which made his let out a small, "oww."
"Hey lil' bro what the fvck happened last night?" Asked a familiar male voice to Dalton as he looked up and once he finally regained his vision he could make out that the man was actually his brother, Dakota.
"W-what?" Dalton mumbled, his face scrunched up in confusion but also of because of the pain from the severe headache.
"Dude, what happened to you? I saw you at the bar passed out," Dakota said crossing his arms at his brother
"I-I don't know," Dalton replied, scrunching up his face.
"Of course you don't remember you're hangover," Dakota rolls his eyes. "Ok now what?" he raised an eyebrow at his brother who just stared back at him once again still confused. "Aight whatever just get ready and I made breakfast downstairs." And with that he left the room leaving Dalton alone to get ready.
A few second later, Dalton hasn't moved a bit yet and Dakota has already came back. "Oh and by the way who was that girl messaging you?" he asked suspiciously peeking through the room door where Dalton was in.
"Who?" Dalton mumbles trying to think hard of who it was.
"Ariana Grande huh? One of the greatest singers right now. I see ya there, Dalton." Dakota winks at his brother before one again finally leaving.
Dalton thinks through just what his brother said as he mentally face palmed himself as he finally remembered what he was talking was all about. "Oh sht," he whispers to himself eventually turning red.
Aggressively grabbing his phone bed side table and rummaging through his contacts until he found the name he was looking for. He saw that she had left around 17 plus messages and 5 missed calls from last night making his sigh as he felt bad for ignoring her. He had completely forgotten just about everything. And with that he forgot that he agreed to help Ariana move in. Looking around everywhere in his room looking for a clock, he checked the time to see that it was already which only made him panic seeing that he'll be late.
Bringing himself out of bed, Dalton runs to the bathroom. Occasionally feeling a bit dizzy, not only from the sudden hangover, but also at how fast he got out of bed. Trying to shower as fast as he could handle, he eventually finished and got dressed trying to look his best. Even though he will only be helping Ariana move into her new house. Walking downstairs, he was greeted by his brother in the kitchen making breakfast. Hearing his own stomach grumbling, signaling that he was in fact hungry. He went in to see what his brother has got in store for breakfast this morning.
"Hey, how ya feeling?" asked Dakota pouring a glass of milk once upon he noticed his brother enter the room.
"Um, alright I guess?" Dalton replied in half statement, half question unsure of what he would answer.
"Eat up," said Dakota sliding over a plate of pancakes right over in front of Dalton along with a mug of coffee following after.
"I need to get going, I'll just have the coffee but thanks anyways," Dalton said getting a proper grip on the coffee mug before lifting it towards his lips to get a sip. It wasn't very often Dakota would make breakfast but just when he did, Dalton didn't have time for it.
