The sway house

My footsteps echoed around the empty white room. The light was blinding but there was no source, no windows no fixtures, nothing. It was completely empty, except for the 2 frames at the other end of the room. I walked not feeling hot or cold, not feeling anything. I walked and walked and walked for what seemed for hours to the strange frames at the other end. As I got closer and closer I could make out the shapes in the frames. The 2 shapes that i didn't want to see. On the left a picture of ryland. Standing there in his noodlesk glory * sorry I had to * his curly framing his perfectly shaped face. And on the right a picture of Jaden, even if it was black and white I could still make out the color he brang to my world, his black middle parted eboy hair, and those clear eyes. Oh god. What is this? Where am I ? Why? I was interrupted by a voice, a voice I could recognize from miles away, a voice with a perfect melodically tune to it. Jaden.
K- JADE IS THAT YOU
I yelled out. In hope that he could hear me
J- hello Kylie
Kylie? Jaden never called me by my name, it was always kyky or ky. I looked around to see where his voice was coming from but there wasn't any speakers or any form of that voice being able to be transmitted into the room.
R- hello kylie
K- RYLAND
And there it was, rylands soft and comforting voice.
K- what is this
I said in a squeaky voice, scared and confused of what would happen next. Suddenly 2 doors appeared under the frames.
J- choose
K- wh- what do you mean
J- you have to choose
K- choose what
J- between us, who do you want
K- j- Jaden you know I can't
What is this, why me?
R- CHOOSE KYLIE
k- NO I CANT
just as this words escaped my mouth everything went dark, the only illumination being the chandelier that had magically appeared in the middle of the space, casting a dim light across the room. What is this? Not only that, the room had shrunk. It previously had no end, just a white line going on forever. Now it was a room, about the size of an average living room.
K- HELP PLEASE SOMEONE
R- the only way out is through one of those doors
K- I CANT CHOOSE I SAID
r- week help you then
Everything started spinning, colors flashed, lights flickered. And I landed. In the room I had been in the night before, playing 21 questions with ryland. But this time it seemed different. I couldn't put my finger on what it was. He door of the room opened and in game ryland.
K- ryland?
R- hey kylie
It was him, it really was. I ran up and gave him a hug.
K- why are you here
R- we're going on a date remember
K- what?
R- yea u got here early and I was just getting changed. U ready?
K- eh- yea ahah
R- ok then leggo
He lead me out of his house into his white convertible Mercedes.
K- nice ride
R- thanks babe
That word, babe. Babe. I hadn't been called that since mark, mark.
K- hehe
The rest of the car ride was us playing music, it was just different. It was ryland but everything else seemed out of touch. Everything looked the same just felt different, the only thing that felt right was ryland.
R- hey kylie we're here
He pulled up to a fancy restaurant
K- ryland im not dressed for this omg
Not once had I actually taken the time to actually see what I was wearing. I looked down just to see me wearing a black sequin fitted dress with some red bottoms and a black Prada purse * rich gira things ig*
R- I think u look amazing
K- yeaa haha thank you
The waiter brought us the menu and I just stared at it. Lobster with caviar, grilled fish with pesto.... what?
K- ry I thought we were going to a casual place
R- mhm
I decided to order the cheapest thing on the menu which was some sort of steak with a mushroom soup.
Waiter- good evening welcome to ******* how could I help you
R- ok so she will get the steak and soup and I'll get the lobster and caviar
I watched the waiter scribble something on his note pad and look at me right in the eye.
Waiter- anything to drink?
K- I'll have water please
R- same here
The waiter scurried off into the depths of the restaurant.
R- so how have you liked the date so far?
K- it's been really fun actually, but I mean you didn't have to book a fancy restaurant.
R- ofc I do, it's our first date and I want it to be perfect
K- ok I mean if it makes you happy
We chitchated for about 20 minutes, he was telling me a little about himself. I mean I guess 21 questions hadn't told me enough. And then our food arrived.
Waiter- here you go, let me now if you need anything.
Eating was eating I guess, nothing really matters if it's not the food. I think ryland saw and tried to make conversation but no one could talk to me while I ate.
R- soo kylie, how do u like the food
K- mhm
R- okaaay and how is life at the sway house
K- mhm
R- Im going to take that as a good
K- mhm
At this point ryland justo hace up on the hope that I would talk to him, it was only after paying that I did.
K- that was fun
R- ur fun
K- stoppp flattering me omg
R- here I've got a coool place we can hang
Ryland dragged me up a hill until we got to the top. There was a little bench frames by trees and you could see the whole city of Los Angeles
K- wow
R- I know
We sat down on the bench and just looked out onto the city.
R- how was the first date
K- it was great
R- fiu
K- don't worry it was perfect
Then we just sat, in silence looking at each other. For what seemed for ages, ages and ages and ages. And then out of the blue he kissed me. The whole world started shaking, everything around me went blurry and I landed. It took me a few moments to realize where I was, but then I knew. The couch in front of the window in Jadens room. I took a moment to look down at my clothes. I was i sweatpants and a hoodie. Wow very profesional kylie. This new world I was in felt strange, just like the one before. Also may as if I was on a cloud but not falling through. That cloud being the only solid thing in the world, that cloud being Jaden. Just as I though, he appeared through the door. Shirtless, I mean he's Jaden ofc he's shirtless.
J- you ready
K- I'm not even dressed
J- Ky it's 3 am why would you need to get dressed
I just then realized it was one of our 3am McDonald's trips.
K- your right lets just go
We tiptoed downstairs making sure no one heard us and locked the front for behind us. Jaden had now put on a grey champion hoodie, the one he lent me almos every day because I loved it.
K- I like your hoodie
J- of course you do
I hopped in the front seat of his car and we were off, I mean only to McDonald's but it's fine. We blasted music not caring if anyone woke up or if anyone looked at us weird. It was Jaden and I could do whatever with him. Once at McDonald's Jaden ordered and we went to our favorite 3 am place, a little view point where he parked the car and we sat on the hood and just looked out.
K- this burger is so bomb
J- fat ass
K- I hate you
J- no you looooove me
K- ok fine but u hate you
This was different than with ryland, it didn't seem forced. It was just like any other night with a friend. No akward conversation, only loving insults.
J- you know what
Jaden said while taking a bite of his burger
K- what
J- I've never actually taken in this view
K- why not you can see the whole city and it's so fucking gorgeous
J- I was busy looking at something eles
K- wha-
I didn't even have time to finish my sentence when Jaden kissed me. The world started shaking again and everything turned white, except for the two doors with frames ontop of them. Oh no
R- so now CHOOSE
K- what no no no I can't
J- it's one of the other Kylie
The walls started to compress the room, it was getting smaller and smaller by the second and the o my way out was one of the doors.
K- I CANT STOP IT HELP
J- CHOOSE A FUCKING DOIR KYLIE
K- I CANT I SAID
R- CHOOSE
I started sobbing, I could feel the walls on my arms. Scrunching me up.
K- HELP HELPE HELP
I tried to scream but I had no voice, this was it.

Everything went black.
