I never thought this would happen to me, fighting for my life in the ruins of a great nation. You should never know what it’s like. I have to hunt to eat, find water to drink. If I catch a cold, then crap, I’m screwed for a while. Where could we go? The United States is far off, Europe is destroyed, and Asia despises us. This should have never happened to the Master Republic. I remember the wickedness like it was one minute ago.
