Seattle. A big city for a lonely girl like me to blend in with the walls. Sure, there may be plenty of sights to see around the city, but I personally like exploring the different positions to sleep in my bed. Alone of course.
Today is Tuesday, which means I technically have school. Senior year is well underway and my senioritis was in full swing. The worst part is that I have no one to share my day with. My parents both work nonstop and my bestfriend currently resides in downtown Paris.
I roll over, reaching for my MacBook to check the weather. No way in hell would I get out of bed if it was supposed to rain today. Please let it rain...
"The forecast looks to be sunny with a high of 46!? Why couldn't it rain today? Of all the times I ask for something. Ugh!" I shouted into the quote of my apartment. It's technically my parents, but they're never here, so it's practically mine. Too bad I don't have any friends; I could throw some killer parties in here.
Admitting defeat with the weather, I walked into my closet to find something to wear. I try to dress nicely, hoping that someone will notice, but that hasn't happened yet. When Ace, my older brother, was still in school, everyone noticed me. Ace holds the record at the high school for the most touchdowns in a season of football. Roaming the halls now, I feel so out of place.
I quickly washed my face in the bathroom before pulling on a graphic tee, a pair of deep blue skinny jeans, and a pair of combat boots. I finished off my look with a pair of diamond dangly earrings and a grey beanie. I pulled my long blonde locks to the side and grabbed my bag.
After waiting for the elevator for more than a minute, I decide to take the stairs. My loft is on the fourth floor, so no big deal. I flagged down a taxi, checking my social media accounts while the cab driver maneuvered through the morning rush. I herd him mutter a few choice words under his breath when a Corvette quickly turned without signaling. I smiled to myself, not saying a word. Before I knew it, the cab slowed to a stop in front of my school. Here goes everything, I thought to myself as I got out of the taxi.

Okay, I don't know how I feel about this. It's just an idea that popped in my head this afternoon. Let me know if you guys like it!
