Broke up

,,Boss told you to get out of here", Anthony told me.

,,But, I didn't do it!", I yelled back at him.

,,You don't have any proof that you didn't", He said with fake tears in his eyes.

,,The proof is fake! You saw it. It's abviously fake", I was already crying.

"If you don't want to get arrested, leave", he said.

,,If you loved me, you would prove to others that i didn't do it.", I said.

,,I'm doing this because I love you and I don't want you to end up in jail.", he pulled me by the hand towards the front door. he threw me out onto the cold ground and locked the door while looking at me with and emotionless expression.

I thought my life was over. I lost my boyfriend and my job. I couldn't believe it. Mike and I were meant for each other. He was perfect in every way...I just wish he trusted me enough to believe me that I didn't do it...

Now it's going to be harder for me to find a job, all because of that fake criminal record.
I thought to myself while walking home slowly with tears in my eyes. I got to the front door and pulled out my keys to open it. I ran to my bed and buried my face in a pillow. I felt so pathetic...

I calmed down after a while and went to was my face in the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw the mascara dripping down my cheeks and onto the sink. I let out a sigh and closed my eyes for a second. It's not over, I'm still young, I can just start over, like I did with Anthony. I decided to do something else and just get my mind off of this. I opened my drawer that was full of different sweets. I took a small piece of chocolate that reminded me of my childhood. I wish I was a child again...

I didn't have to worry about anything except school. I had only one friend but it didn't matter, he was all I needed. He was different than others, in a good way. He would always come up with ideas and hanging out with him was always fun. I wish I never moved...
I laid in my bed for a couple of hours before actually going to sleep.

~The Next Day~

I was reading a newspaper about the robbery that happened 5 years ago. It said how I got fired because of the accusations. I saw Anthony's face in the newspaper and at the bottom it said how big of a hero he was. Disgusting. He didn't deserve it. I ripped that part and crumpled it up. On the other side of the paper I saw a picture of a big building and the title was "OPENING THE BIGGEST CHOCOLATE FACTORY IN THE WORLD" .

My eyes were wide. I decided to read some more but the part where there was written the owner's name was missing. Probably when I ripped Anthony's face I accidentally ripped this part too! I got frustrated and put the newspaper besides me. I wanted to go buy a new one but I would get bombarded with questions about rumors and the robbery by journalists and reporters.

I turned on the TV and saw the exact same thing like in the newspaper. Good.

Again when they were about to announce the chocolatier's name, all that showed up on my TV was static. I groaned in annoyance and kicked the TV. Turns out I didn't pay my electric bill. I didn't have much money left since I got fired before getting paid. Now my house was dark with a depressing atmosphere. I didn't like it.

I miss the time when I'd spend the day over at Anthony's place and we would go to different places and have fun. Now he only thinks of me as a traitor and liar. We could've had a bright future together. Have our own family and not worry about anything ever. None of that is possible now.

I'll try to move on as fast as I can. Maybe this is a good thing. I'll learn to love myself more. The rest will come on its own.

I spent the rest of the day in my house. I made a plan to focus on finding another job and maybe starting to work out and find a hobby. I'm going to do as much as I can to get back on track.

I just hope I don't get distracted...
