When their trip to Wonju came to an end and soon they left to Hoengseong, it was only a 16-minute drive so they arrived quite quickly, they left late in Wonju as they slept in and Youngjo worked on his article and Songyeon studied.
They arrived close to dinner time so they ended up going to, so they ended up going to a restaurant the lady at the guesthouse recommended. They went out to eat and on the way, they found a nice bar as well so once they were done at the restaurant they went out for a drink or two and then went back to the guesthouse.
Since they worked in the morning they just spent their time relaxing a little and talking about a different thing, Youngjo started talking about his childhood and Songyeon listened, he felt envious as he listened even after meeting the older's parents he figured that he must've had a nice life.
"So how about you? What was you're childhood like?" the older boy asked and although Songyeon hesitated he thought at one point he was going to have to tell the older about himself so he did.
"Well I can't remember anything from before the age of 5, since I started school up until now all I know how to do is study, my parents never allowed me to go out or to make friends, I would go to school and come home and study or I would attend academies continuously" The younger boy explained and Youngjo looked at him for a second hoping that the younger boy was joking but the younger looked quite sad when he spoke so he knew it wasn't.
He felt something inside him break... he finally figured it out, the freedom the younger was talking about back on Chiaksan... that is what he meant. He looked at the younger and almost as if his body reacted on its own he found himself hugging the boy, he held him tightly for a few minutes before breaking the hug.
"Am I allowed to fight your parents?" he asked, the younger just smiled sadly and shrugged.
"The only reason I can live with Gunhak is that he is the son of one of the people who are business partners with my parents, if it wasn't for that I wouldn't even know Dongju or Dongmyeong" he explained and the older really felt angry at that moment.
He felt that if you wanted to have kids it's your job to ensure that they would be happy in their life, not to control them to the point where they hid all their emotions away from everyone and found continuously studying to almost forgetting reality normal.
"Sorry... I ruined the mood, what are your friends like hyung?" the younger asked.
"You didn't ruin the mood, I want to be your friend Songyeon, it is really important for me to know stuff like this so I can let you experience freedom like this" Youngjo said with a sweet smile causing Songyeon to almost cry but he didn't he kept it in.
"But my Friends? They are a mess, let's start with Seoho, he is quite loud he is a music critic at the magazine we work out, he is really funny and he actually is an amazing performer, he is really nice, he was the first person I met at the company and he instantly befriended me" Youngjo said.
"Next is Keonhee... he is really funny as well, kinda clingy but I don't mind it, one could say he is like a child who I adopted, I don't really know how to explain it but I am really thankful for him"
"And lastly Hwanwoong, Woongie and I have a little history, we met on a blind date and thing's didn't work out there although we did meet multiple times after the disaster date mainly because we clicked and we got along would be a waste not to be friends just because of that, in the end, they all work with me but we are in, different departments, I focus on travel, Seoho is in music, Keonhee is in theater and Hwanwoong is in Performance"
Songyeon listens as Youngjo spoke and he found it quite pure, the boy loved traveling you could tell from the way he spoke but you could tell he loved his friends even more than traveling his expression completely changed when he spoke about them and Songyeon couldn't help but feel something when the older spoke like that.
He wasn't sure what it was thought, but whenever the older spoke about something that passionately his chest would hurt a little but he would feel very happy at the same time and since he never really experienced a wide variety of emotions it was really confusing to him.
In the end, they kept talking about a lot of anything they could think, it was mostly Youngjo talking though as he experienced a lot more than Songyeon but Songyeon still listened happily, he found it quite interesting and he liked learning more about the older.
