Fate

CHAPTER ONE

It's been a year since that accident and something happened and the memories were buried in my memory but I keep seeing these unpleasant memories that I can't seem to forget.

 I don't think that these memories are mine, I have never experienced this kind of tragedy my whole life. 

"Yana! Yana!" Luna said catching up to me. I belong to the editorial team and I barely got into this company. 

"Did you hear that Director X is coming back?" she said as we walk on the hallway going to the meeting room

 "Director X?" I said confused 

"You don't know him?" she said 

"He's the son of the president of this company and they said that has a really bad attitude, I meant he is bad news all over" she said as she crossed her arms. 

"He's going to handle our department" she added. 

We reached the meeting room and almost everyone are there. I sat beside Luna and she said "guess we are meeting him today". 

All of them are here and Director Kyu started talking "So today, I will be transferred in to a new department and I hope that you can get along with the new director." 

He said and smiled.

A tall man entered the room, he has green eyes and black curly hair, perfect jawline and a well-honed body. The girls in the room cannot contain their chill. 

"My name is X and I am your new director" he said as he sat down the center chair.

 Director Kyu left and now Director X started talking 

"I will do my job and you'll do yours that's how we'll get along, end of discussion" he said then left "and one more thing, you come at my office" he said pointing at me. 

Me? What? Why? 

"Yana go! Before he roars fire" Luna said terrified from the fact that Director X told me to go to his office. What did I do now?

I entered 'HELL' if I may quote Luna. I gathered my courage, clenched my fist and knocked at the door "Come in" he said. I opened the door 

"umm... you wanted to see me?" I said as I move closely to his desk "You don't remember me?" he said with a confused look.

 "Uhhh... No sir" I said as I scratch my head in confusion 

"We met a year ago?" he said as he spins his chair

 "No sir, I'm sorry" I said 

"Let me recall it to you then, you had an accident a year ago right?" he said "yes sir but the doctor said that I lost my memories on that day" I said.

 He seemed a bit disappointed "okay we can't do anything if you don't remember, you can leave now" he said.

 I bowed my head and left, who the heck is he? Why is my heart aching when I saw him? I shook my head in confusion 

"Yanaaaaaa!!" Luna said as she checks my body for bruises, this girl is really exaggerating. "I'm fine" I said as I laugh on her actions.

"Thank god you're still alive" she said placing her palm in her chess and breathe out a relief sigh 

"What did he do to you?" she asked 

"He just asked if I remember him and I said no" I said as I started to walk. We reached our desk, I pulled my chair and opened my computer 

"huh... weird" Luna said as she sat down on her chair. 

"Yana can you please finish the project by Friday? Director X said we have to present the visuals on Saturday" Alana said leaning on my desk

 "but that's 3 days from now don't you think we need to think this project through?" I said running through the project's files 

"Director X demanded it, do an overtime if you have to" she said then left. 

That little shrimp I want to crush her so bad!! She always get on my nerves. 

"Do you need help?" Luna said spinning her chair to face me

 "No it's okay, I can handle this" I said smiling at her. I guess I won't be going home for 3 days then.

 Today is the last day of no sleep 3 days and finally I can come back to my normal life. 

"Why are you still here?" a voice of a man said but I am too busy to mind what's going on

 "I have to finish this or else I'll get fired" I said as I continued my work

 "did you eat?" he added 

"no" I said. 

After 5 minutes I turned my head and saw a burger on my desk, who put it here? Well, might as well it eat I'm hella hungry! I started to devour the burger and someone called me, it's Luna. I grabbed my phone and answered it 

"Hello?" I said as I took a bite of my burger

 "Yana is director X still there? I need to get him the files from the project" she said panting, she might have been running on the way here 

"uhhh... was he here? I didn't notice" I said "you were the ones left there earlier" she said "wait... you mean he was here? Can I ask you something" I said to Luna 

"did you put a burger on my desk?" I added "no why?" Luna said. 

The burger stuck to my throat, I started to cough 

"here" a voice said. 

I was offered a cup of water "thank..." I said as water came out of my mouth. It spilled all over his shirt "Oh my god, I'm so sorr..." I said wiping his shirt.

 I looked up and saw an annoyed Director X looking at me 

"I offered you water but you spit it on me, you really have the guts" he said as he lean closer to me "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean it" I bowed my head. 

He lifted my head holding my chin and then he said "I don't know why but you're interesting" he whispered in my ear. 

WHAT? What is happening? Why? 

"Yana!" Luna said rushing her way to me. 

Director X took a step back and smiled at me 

"Are you okay?" Luna said "yes I'm fine" I said. 

I sat back on my seat then Luna started talking to Director X then they both left.

 Now..

 I'm alone again...
